摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a plurality of light sources emitting beams of light, a photoconductor, a scanner for reflecting the beams of light emitted by the light sources to scan the photoconductor periodically, a light detector for receiving the beams of light from the scanner to determine a beam pitch between the beams of light, the light detector being provided in a part of an optical path between the scanner and the photoconductor, a beam shifter for shifting the beams of light incident on the scanner from the light sources, and a controller for operating the beam shifter so that the beam pitch determined by the light detector becomes a predetermined value.

摘要： The present invention aims at providing an optical unit, its manufacturing method, and electrophotographic device that can easily and inexpensively achieve a reliable latent image formation on a photosensitive drum, and can form a high-quality image. To realize the above aims, a lens barrel and a collimating lens are bonded only at a single spot, and the bonding orientation is aligned approximately with a main scanning direction. Thereby displacement of the collimating lens caused by a thermal expansion of the adhesive is restricted to the main scanning direction as adjustable by other components.

摘要： An auxiliary mechanism for a seat belt apparatus includes a support portion and a guide portion. The support portion supports a webbing in a manner drawable to the front of a seat back. The support portion is movable between a storage position, which is near the seat back, and a projection position, which is spaced further apart from the seat back than the storage position to draw out the webbing toward the front of the seat back. The guide portion guides the movement of the support portion between the storage position and the projection position, and then continuously guides the movement of the support portion along a vertical direction of the seat back at the storage position.

摘要： A control apparatus controls an ultrasonic motor. The ultrasonic motor includes a stator, a piezoelectric element provided in the stator, and a rotor. The rotor is slidably pressed against the stator. When a driving high frequency voltage is applied to the piezoelectric element, the stator is vibrated to rotate the rotor. The control apparatus includes measuring means. The measuring means changes the frequency of a searching high frequency voltage, the searching high frequency voltage being lower than the driving high frequency voltage, thereby measuring a resonance frequency of the ultrasonic motor. The control apparatus drives the motor in a favorable manner.
