    摘要： In a spark plug in which one end of a ground electrode 9 is welded to a front end surface (7a) of a tubular metallic shell (7), the following relations (1) and (2) are satisfied: K≧1.1A  (1) K≧(D−d)/2  (2) where A represents the wall thickness of the metallic shell in the radial direction measured on the front end surface at a position where the wall thickness becomes the minimum; d represents the maximum inner diameter of the front end surface; D represents the minimum outer diameter of the front end surface; and K represents the wall thickness in a region of the front end surface where the ground electrode is welded to the front end surface.

    摘要： A container position measuring method using a microwave sensor 31 which emits microwave 35 and receives reflected wave of the microwave 35, wherein a position of a corner portion of a transportation container is measured by reflected wave from the corner portion. The microwave 35 is not influenced by weather and color of a transportation container 18. Therefore it is possible to reliably measure position data of the transportation container. The microwave 35 does not easily receive the influence of weather and color of the transportation container. The present invention provides a position measuring method capable of stably measure position data of the transportation container.

    摘要： An engine-operated machine such as an electric generator includes a box-shaped casing, an engine disposed in an upper portion of the casing, a machine unit disposed in a lower portion of the casing, and a power transmission assembly by which the engine is operatively connected to the machine unit. The box-shaped casing includes a casing body having front and rear openings, a pair of upper doors mounted on the casing body for opening and closing upper portions of the front and rear openings, respectively, a pair of lower doors mounted on the casing body below the upper doors for opening and closing lower portions of the front and rear openings, respectively, independently of the upper doors, and a pair of screen doors mounted on the casing body inwardly of the lower doors, respectively, for opening and closing the lower portions of the front and rear openings, respectively. A fuel tank is slidably removably disposed in the casing adjacent to the machine unit. When in operation, the upper and screen doors are closed and the lower doors are open. The closed screen doors protect the internal mechanism from being tampered with or other forms of attack. The engine-operated machine is of a small height, highly compact, and small in size.
