    摘要: A hermetic rotary compressor has a motor unit composed of a stator and a rotor which are arranged in an upper portion of a hermetic housing, an oil-lubricated compressor unit arranged in a lower portion of the hermetic housing, a crank shaft which interconnects said motor unit and said compressor unit, a discharging silencer which is formed by a lower bearing of the compressor unit positioned around the lower end of the crank shaft and a cover of the lower bearing. The hermetic rotary compressor further has a lower balancing weight mounted around a lower shaft end portion of the crank shaft which extends to a position below the discharging silencer and a weight cup surrounding the lower balancing weight. In this hermetic rotary compressor, the lower balancing weight is not disposed within the discharging silencer. Hence, even is the gas-liquid mixture of refrigerant is discharged from the discharging valve into the silencer chamber in the start-up or during liquid-back operation of the compressor, there is no risk that the lower balancing weight undesirably stirs such a fluid.

    摘要: There is provided a finite type rolling guide deviation correcting method and system capable of detecting the deviation in relative position between a rolling guide and a movable body if the deviation in relative position increases, and automatically carrying out a correcting operation for returning the deviation in relative position to a normal positional relationship. The finite type rolling guide deviation correcting method corrects a relative positional relationship between a finite type rolling guide for guiding a reciprocating motion of a movable body and the movable body. This method comprises the steps of: detecting whether the rolling guide exists below one end portion of the movable body in a moving direction, of both end portions of the movable body in reciprocating directions; moving the movable body toward the other end portion at a low speed when it is detected that the rolling guide does not exist below the one end portion of the movable body in the moving direction; and correcting the deviation in relative position between the movable body and the rolling guide by moving tho movable body to a stroke end while forcing to stop of a row of the rolling guide in the vicinity of the stroke end.

    摘要: A vehicular lamp which employs one or more projector lamp units and which is capable of preventing a reflector from being deformed by weight-induced strain while achieving and maintaining required light distribution characteristics. In one embodiment, the vehicular lamp includes first and second lamp units provided with respective reflectors, light sources, and projection lenses, with each lamp unit being tiltably supported on a lamp body via brackets formed separately at least from the reflectors. The brackets are tiltably supported at fulcrums the lamp body. Even in a case where stresses resulting from the weights of the lamp units are applied to bearings to the fulcrums, the stresses can be attenuated or absorbed by the brackets and the reflectors of the lamp units are not strained. Thus, the reflectors are prevented from being deformed, and the lamp units can achieve desired light distribution characteristics.

    摘要: A vehicular turn signal lamp in which part of the direct light from the light bulb is reflected from the reflector of an inner cap and applied through the rear lens portion of an outer lens. Hence, an observer at the rear of (or in front of) the vehicle body can observe the lamp more positively, and the lamp gives a positive signal to the observer that the vehicle will turn. The turn signal lamp includes a lamp body having a reflecting mirror surface formed on at least a portion of an inner surface thereof, a light bulb mounted in a rear opening in the lamp body, an inner cap covering the light bulb, a reflector protruding from an outer surface of the inner cap for reflecting light from the light bulb rearwardly, and an outer lens engaged with a front opening of the lamp body and having a rear lens portion through which light reflected from the reflector passes. The rear lens portion extends beyond a side panel of the vehicle when the lamp is installed on the vehicle.

    摘要: A rotary compressor has a compression mechanism including main and sub bearings closing the ends of a cylinder bore and supporting a crankshaft having an eccentric portion on which a rolling piston positioned in the cylinder bore is rotatably mounted. Oil grooves are formed in the shaft holes of the bearings to receive lubrication oil from spaces defined by the rolling piston, the crankshaft eccentric portion and the main and sub bearings. The eccentric portion and the sub bearing are sized and shaped such that the oil groove in the sub bearing is always prevented from opening to the space adjacent thereto. The drawing force generated in the oil groove in the sub bearing by the rotation of a balancer attached to the lower end of the crankshaft is thereby prevented from acting on the space, thereby avoiding cavitation abrasion of the members facing the spaces.

    摘要: A rotary compressor has an electric motor and a compression mechanism drivingly connected thereto by a crank shaft including an eccentric portion having flangelike thrust bearing sections and an eccentric pin section on which a rolling piston is mounted for eccentric rotation in a cylinder bore. The eccentric pin section has formed therein at least one axial through-hole for reducing the mass unbalance of the pin section. The crank shaft has formed thereon coaxial sections each concentric to the axis of rotation of the crank shaft and disposed between the eccentric pin section and one of the thrust bearing sections to decrease the axial dimensions thereof and of the eccentric pin section for thereby decreasing the total mass unbalance of the eccentric portion of the crank shaft whereby crank shaft deflection due to mass unbalance is remarkably reduced particularly at a high speed operation.
