A copolymer latex of a copolymer comprising 50 to 88 wt % of a conjugated diene monomer unit, 10 to 40 wt % of an ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer unit, and 2 to 10 wt % of an ethylenically unsaturated acid monomer unit, the copolymer latex having an insoluble content in methyl ethyl ketone of 70 wt % or less and a swelling degree in methyl ethyl ketone of 40 times or more when the copolymer is formed into a dry film.

A rubber formed article includes a laminate in which a rubber layer of nitrile rubber is laminated on a fiber base material. The nitrile rubber contains a copolymer having 52 to 78% by weight of conjugated diene monomer units, 20 to 40% by weight of α,β-ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer units, and 2 to 10% by weight of ethylenically unsaturated monocarboxylic acid monomer units. Stress at 50% elongation of the laminate is 20 N or smaller. A ratio of an area where rubber is visible when the laminate is viewed from the back side to an area of the laminate is 15% or less. The thickness of the rubber layer is 0.30 mm or less.

A latex for dip forming and a sulfur-based crosslinking agent, and has a pH of 9.5-11, the latex containing a copolymer having 40-80% by weight of conjugated diene monomer units (A) that contain a butadiene unit and an isoprene unit, 10-45% by weight of ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer units (B), and 2-15% by weight of ethylenically unsaturated acid monomer units (C), the ratio between the butadiene unit content and the isoprene unit content being 40:60 to 95:5 expressed in terms of weight.

This application relates to a production method for a medical balloon that can suppress the occurrence of the symptom of delayed-type allergy (Type IV) in addition to immediate-type allergy (Type I). The production method includes molding a composition containing a carboxy-modified conjugated diene polymer, a vulcanizing agent, and a xanthogen compound into the shape of a balloon. The molding of the composition into the shape of a balloon includes dipping a balloon-shaped mold in the composition in the form of latex.

Disclosed is a dip-formed article obtained by dip-molding a latex composition for dip-forming, which contains a crosslinking agent and a latex for dip-forming containing a copolymer composed of 40-80% by weight of conjugated diene monomer units (A) containing an isoprene unit, 20-45% by weight of ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer units (B), and 2-15% by weight of ethylenically unsaturated acid monomer units (C), and having a weight ratio of butadiene unit content to isoprene unit content that falls within the range of 60:40 to 100:0. Tear strength is at least 50 N/mm, tensile strength is at least 25 MPa, and oil swelling rate does not exceed 5%.

A method of producing a laminated body, the method including a coagulant solution deposition step of depositing a coagulant solution on a fiber substrate, and a coagulation step of forming a polymer layer on the fiber substrate by bringing a polymer latex into contact with the fiber substrate having the coagulant solution deposited thereon to cause a polymer to coagulate. As the coagulant solution, a solution obtained by dissolving or dispersing 0.2 to 7.0% by weight of a metal salt as a coagulant and 0.1 to 7.0% by weight of an organic acid in a solvent is used. In the method of producing a laminated body, the metal salt is a polyvalent metal salt. In the method of producing a laminated body, the organic acid is an organic acid having at least one group selected from a carboxyl group, a sulfo group, a hydroxy group, and a thiol group.
