Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a non-slip glove which is superior in workability owing to ease of grasping an object and enables maintaining an antislip property for a long period of time. The non-slip glove of the present invention includes: a knitted glove main body made of fibers which includes a main body portion formed into a bag shape so as to cover a wearer's palm and dorsal hand, bottomed cylindrical first to fifth finger portions extending from the main body portion so as to cover the wearer's first to fifth fingers, respectively, and a cylindrical cuff portion extending in a direction opposite to the first to fifth finger portions; a coating layer made of a rubber or a resin which is overlaid on a palm part of the knitted glove main body and a palm side of the first to fifth finger portions; and a reinforcing portion made of a rubber or a resin which is interposed between the knitted glove main body and the coating layer, wherein the reinforcing portion is disposed at a position on the palm side, the position corresponding to at least carpometacarpal joints of the third to fifth fingers, a navicular bone, a lunate bone, a hamate bone, and a pisiform bone at a time of wearing.

Abstract: An article comprises a laminate with a layer comprising a first latex composition containing a cross-linker component selected from sulfur, organic peroxide, vulcanizing activators, and vulcanizing accelerator; and a second layer comprising a second latex composition free of the cross-linker component. The laminate is formed by dipping a mold into the first latex composition then into the second latex composition forming a laminated film, then curing the laminated film by heating to a temperature between 90° C. to 140° C. Lastly, the laminated film is removed from the mold via inversion such that the second layer is inwards and the first layer is outwards.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to synthetic polyisoprene elastomeric articles including: one or more cured blend compositions of pre-vulcanized synthetic polyisoprene particles and non-prevulcanized synthetic polyisoprene particles, wherein the pre-vulcanized synthetic polyisoprene particles and the non-prevulcanized synthetic polyisoprene particles are bonded by mono-sulfidic and/or di-sulfidic, and poly-sulfidic crosslinks, wherein the poly-sulfidic crosslinks are present in an amount of 60 to 79 percent of the total amount of crosslinks in the cured blend composition. Methods of making synthetic polyisoprene elastomeric articles such as gloves or condoms is also disclosed.

Abstract: A cleaning utensil for expeditiously and thoroughly cleaning dirty surfaces includes an ergonomic scrub glove (10) worn by a person doing the cleaning. The scrub glove has a base portion made of a material impervious to liquids and which covers the person's hand and wrist and at least a portion of their forearm when worn. An outer layer (L) of the scrub glove comprises an abrasive woven mesh material which encases the portion of the scrub glove covering the person's hand. A cleaning solution is poured onto this outer layer for the wearer to apply the solution to a surface being cleaned by the wearer by moving their hand over and about a surface to be cleaned. The base portion of the scrub glove prevents the person's hand, wrist and forearm from coming in contact with the cleaning solution.

Abstract: A method for producing multi-layered elastomeric film or article, the method comprising: (i) dipping a mold into a composition for producing an elastomeric film having a total solids content of between 5%-40% to produce a layer of elastomeric film composition on the mold, (ii) partially drying the layer of elastomeric film composition on the mold to reduce the total water content of the elastomeric film composition to a level of not less than 22%, (iii) dipping the mold coated with the partially dried layer of elastomeric film composition into a composition for producing an elastomeric film having a total solids content of between 5%-40% to produce a further layer of elastomeric film composition on the mold, (iv) optionally repeating the partial drying step (ii) and the further dipping step (iii), and (v) drying and curing the layers of elastomeric film composition on the mold.
