摘要: Thermally vulcanisable, meltable adhesives and processes have a meltable polybutadiene-polyurethane, ground sulphur and optionally at least one vulcanisation accelerator, at least one filling material, at least one epoxide resin, at least one tackifier resin, bitumen, at least one softener and further auxiliary and additive materials, wherein said adhesives and processes can be thermally vulcanised within a temperature range of 130° C. to 230° C., such that same, as well as an adhesive strip produced from same, can be used for adhesion and/or sealing in the automotive industry, as well as in structural work on oiled sheet metal, and in the painting line on e-coated or otherwise painted sheet metal, for example, for crimp fold adhesion, for crimp fold sealing, for seam sealing, for lining adhesion, for hole closure and much more.

摘要: This invention relates to a tire with a tread of a rubber composition for promoting a combination of beneficial wet traction and reduced rolling resistance, while limiting any loss of winter traction at low temperatures. The tread rubber composition contains a combination of high and lower glass transition temperature (Tg) elastomers. Its reinforcing filler is primarily precipitated silica. The high Tg elastomer is comprised of synthetic high vinyl polybutadiene rubber and the lower Tg elastomer is comprised of at least one of natural and synthetic cis 1,4-polyisoprene rubber. The tread rubber composition may contain at least one of vegetable oil based rubber processing aid and traction promoting resin. The tread rubber composition is intended to be exclusive of styrene-containing elastomers.

摘要: The present invention provides an elastomeric composition comprising: at least one first elastomer; at least one first hydrocarbon polymer additive; and at least one second hydrocarbon polymer additive; wherein each of the first hydrocarbon polymer additive and the second hydrocarbon polymer additive is selected from the group consisting of: C5 aliphatic resins, C9 aromatic resins, mixed C5/C9 resins, pure aromatic monomer resins, dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) resins, aromatic modified cycloaliphatic resins, coumarone indene resins, rosin resins, rosin esters, terpene resins, modified terpene resins, terpene phenolic resins, and hydrogenated resins thereof. The composition may further comprise a second elastomer which is immiscible with the first elastomer.

摘要: Airplane tire tread (2), having an axial width L, comprises a middle part (3) having an axial width LC between 50% and 80% of L and composed of a middle rubber composition, and two lateral parts (41, 42), positioned axially on either side of middle part (3), each having an axial width (LS1, LS2) between 10% and 25% of L and each composed of a lateral rubber composition. The middle rubber composition comprises at least 50 phr of a first middle part diene elastomer (“FMPDE”), at most 70 phr of a middle part reinforcing filler (“MPRF”) and a crosslinking system. FMPDE is a terpolymer of ethylene, of an α-olefin and of a non-conjugated diene. The FLPDE lateral rubber composition of each lateral part comprises at least 50 phr of a first lateral part diene elastomer, a lateral part reinforcing filler content at least equal to the MPRF and a crosslinking system. The FLPDE is a terpolymer of ethylene, of an α-olefin and of a non-conjugated diene.

摘要: Provided are: a rubber composition for treads which contains a diene rubber in the rubber component and can simultaneously achieve blowing resistance during dry running, wet grip performance and abrasion resistance; and a pneumatic tire including a tread formed from the rubber composition for treads. The rubber composition contains: a diene rubber including styrene-butadiene rubber; zinc dithiophosphate; an inorganic filler including at least one selected from the group consisting of: a compound of the formula: mM.xSiOy.zH2O wherein M represents at least one metal selected from the group consisting of Al, Mg, Ti, Ca, and Zr, or an oxide or hydroxide of the metal, m represents an integer of 1-5, x represents an integer of 0-10, y represents an integer of 2-5, and z represents an integer of 0-10; magnesium sulfate; and silicon carbide, and having a BET value of 5-120 m2/g and a linseed oil absorption of 30-80 mL/100 g; and sulfur, wherein, per 100 parts by mass of the diene rubber, there are 0.2-15 parts by mass of the zinc dithiophosphate, 1-70 parts by mass of the inorganic filler, and less than 2.5 parts by mass of zinc oxide.

摘要: Copolymerization of elemental sulfur with functional comonomers afford sulfur copolymers having a high molecular weight and high sulfur content. Nucleophilic activators initiate sulfur polymerizations at relative lower temperatures and in solutions, which enable the use of a wider range of comonomers, such as vinylics, styrenics, and non-homopolymerizing comonomers. Nucleophilic activators promote ring-opening reactions to generate linear polysulfide intermediates that copolymerize with comonomers. Dynamic sulfur-sulfur bonds enable re-processing or melt processing of the sulfur polymer. Chalcogenide-based copolymers have a refractive index of about 1.7-2.6 at a wavelength in a range of about 5000 nm-8μιτι. The sulfur copolymer can be a thermoplastic or a thermoset for use in elastomers, resins, lubricants, coatings, antioxidants, cathode materials for electrochemical cells, dental adhesives/restorations, and polymeric articles such as polymeric films and free-standing substrates. Optical substrates are constructed from the chalcogenide copolymer and are substantially transparent in the visible and infrared spectrum.

The tire rubber composition includes 100 parts by mass of a diene rubber (A) and from 1 to 50 parts by mass of elastic microparticles (B), wherein the elastic microparticles (B) have a form of microparticles obtained by crosslinking a crosslinkable oligomer or polymer (b1) in water or an organic solvent, or in the diene rubber (A), and have an average particle size of from 0.001 to 100 μm, the JIS A hardness of a cured product obtained by crosslinking the crosslinkable oligomer or polymer (b1) without use of water, the organic solvent or the diene rubber (A) is greater than 45, and the elongation of the cured product is 200% or greater.
