Abstract:
Methods, apparatus, and systems for enabling an application function to influence access traffic steering, switching, splitting control are described. In one example aspect, a wireless communication method includes transmitting a request from an application function to a network function to enable a creation or an update of a policy or a rule for traffic routing. The request includes one or more parameters indicating traffic routing information for one or more user devices. The one or more parameters comprise at least an access type preference for the one or more user devices. The method also includes receiving a response from the network function indicating the creation or the update of the policy or the rule for traffic routing.
Abstract:
A method of wireless communication is provided. The method comprises: transmitting, by a user device to an access network, a first message to request an Internet protocol (IP) address that is to be used for the wireless communication; and receiving, by the user device from the access network, IP address information including the IP address allocated to the user device.
Abstract:
Method, device and computer program product for wireless communication are provided. A method includes: receiving, by an access and mobility management node from a radio access node, a first request message with relay information; and transmitting, by the access and mobility management node to a session management node, a second request message with the relay information to allow the session management node to activate one or more Protocol Data Unit, PDU, sessions over a relay path.
Abstract:
Provided are an information transmission method and apparatus, an information processing method and apparatus, a terminal, a network element, and a storage medium. The information transmission method includes encapsulating non-access stratum (NAS) information and access resource (AS) parameter information in a vendor-specific protocol (VSP) packet, where the NAS information includes NAS system information and NAS customization information, and the AS parameter information is used for wired side resource negotiation; encapsulating establishment signaling of a wired access network control plane channel in a vendor-specific network control protocol (VSNCP) packet; and transmitting, through the VSP packet, the NAS information and the AS parameter information.
Abstract:
A wireless communication method for use in a wireless network function comprises receiving, from a first session management function (SMF) a registration request of a packet data unit (PDU) session corresponding to a second SMF, and transmitting, to the second SMF, a notification which indicates the PDU session is controlled by another SMF.
Abstract:
Presented are systems and methods for support of multiple access paths. A wireless communication device may receive a route selection policy including a first indication from a core network. The wireless communication may establish a plurality of access paths to connect with the core network. The plurality of access paths may include two access paths that can be cellular-based. The wireless communication device may determine to establish the two cellular-based access paths according to the first indication.
Abstract:
Methods, apparatus and systems for backward compatible multi-access protocol data unit session (PDU) registration and deregistration are described. One method of digital communication includes establishing, by a session management function operating in a communication network, a PDU session for a wireless device and transmitting, upon successfully establishing the PDU session, a registration request to a network-side function to register a context of a PDU session of the wireless device with the network-side function, wherein the registration request identifies a set of session management functions that includes the session management function.
Abstract:
Provided are a method and apparatus for establishing a data transmission link, and a computer-readable storage medium. By means of establishing a protocol data unit (PDU) session, a PDU session ID and a quality of service flow ID in the PDU session are encapsulated in an ID of a generic routing encapsulation (GRE) tunnel by means of GRE, and a connection between a 5G residential gateway (5G-RG) and a wireline access gateway function (W-AGF) is established through a GRE tunnel such that the GRE tunnel connection established between the 5G-RG and the W-AGF is in one-to-one correspondence with the quality of service flow of the PDU session, and user plane point-to-point connection between the 5G-RG and the W-AGF is realized in certain implementation processes.
Abstract:
A method, device and system for managing a packet data network type management are disclosed. The method comprises: a User Equipment, UE, sends a request message to a WLAN AN, wherein the request message carries a packet data network type requested by the UE; the UE receives an acknowledgement message returned by the WLAN AN to the UE, wherein the acknowledgement message carries a packet data network type decided by a network side. It is solved the technical problem in the related art of the waste of the address resources, which is caused by the fact that the addresses corresponding to the packet data network type subscribed by the user in the subscription information are all directly allocated to the UE in advance, thereby achieving the technical effects of reducing the wasted address resources and improving the address resource utilization rate.
Abstract:
The present arrangement relate to systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for storing a Network Function (NF) profile of Radio Access Network (RAN), the NF profile including a callback link, wherein the callback link corresponds to at least one service provided by the RAN; and communicating, by the RAN with an NF, information for the at least one service of the RAN using the callback link.
