    摘要: An elbow prosthesis can include a humeral component having a yoke, an ulnar component having a head, a humeral bearing positionable in a base of the humeral component, an ulnar bearing assembly configured to engage with the head, and a pin extendable through the bearing assembly and the head. The pin can be extendable into first and second ears of the yoke to enable pivotable movement of the ulnar component relative to the humeral component. The elbow prosthesis can include a first fastener insertable through the first ear of the yoke and configured to engage with the pin, and a second fastener insertable through the second ear of the yoke and configured to engage with the pin.

    摘要: The present disclosure relates to prosthesis systems having trays and liners having an asymmetrical locking mechanism to bias the strength of the liner to resist loading forces and associated methods. The tray has a lateral groove disposed in an inner surface of a lateral circumferential portion of the tray and a medial groove disposed in an inner surface of a medial circumferential portion of the tray. The liner has an upper segment and a lower segment. The liner has a locking portion for lockingly engaging the tray that includes the lower segment. The locking portion has a lateral toe positioned generally diametrically opposite a plurality of resiliently deformable medial fingers defined therein. The liner and the tray are engageable in a lateral-to-medial direction so that the plurality of medial fingers can resiliently deform to engage the medial groove subsequent to engagement of the lateral toe within the lateral groove.

    摘要: An assembly tool for assembling components of an implant can include a finger assembly, a handle assembly, and a crossbar assembly. The finger assembly can include first and second fingers oriented parallel to each other, and sized and shaped to releasably engage first and second components of the implant during assembly. The handle assembly can include first and second handles pivotally connected to each other and configured to control movement of the first and second fingers. The crossbar assembly can be configured to maintain the first and second fingers substantially parallel to each other during movement of the first and second fingers. The assembly tool can be used for assembling a bearing assembly to an ulnar component of an elbow prosthesis.

    摘要: A tooling system and method is disclosed for removing a head portion of a modular implant from a stem portion of the implant. The tooling system can include first and second tools configured to releasably mate together when the upper and lower tools are in an assembled position, and a holder configured to releasably secure the first and second tools in the assembled position. The first and second tools can be inserted between the head portion and an adaptor of the stem portion. When the first and second tools are rotated in opposite directions, the first tool can exert pressure on the head portion of the implant sufficient to release the head portion from locked engagement with the adaptor. The first and second tools can include mating features that disengage from each other as the tools are rotated in opposite directions.

    摘要: A tooling system and method is disclosed for removing a head portion of a modular implant from a stem portion of the implant. The tooling system can include first and second tools configured to releasably mate together when the upper and lower tools are in an assembled position, and a holder configured to releasably secure the first and second tools in the assembled position.
