    Abstract: According to the present invention, an assembly suitability determination device determines suitability of assembly of a component to a paint device. The assembly suitability determination device includes an assembly suitability information recording unit, and an assembly suitability determination unit. The assembly suitability information recording unit records model information representing a model of the component and model information representing a model of a device-side component that receives the component on the paint device, and is suitable for the assembly of the component while associating the model information on the component with the model information on the device-side component. The assembly suitability determination unit determines the suitability of the assembly based on the model information on the component, the model information on the device-side component, and a recorded content of the assembly suitability information recording unit.

    Abstract: A shaping air ring (10) is configured of a body (11), a cover (13) and a nozzle (15). A tapered conical protrusion (17) is provided in a front end of the nozzle (15) to abut on the cover (13) in contact therewith without a clearance therebetween. Numerous inclined recessed grooves (20) are provided on a forward tapered surfaces (17C) of the conical protrusion (17) over the entire periphery. Further, a first shaping air ejecting hole (23) is formed between each of the inclined recessed grooves (20) and an inner peripheral surface (13B2) of the cover (13) to eject shaping air toward a releasing edge (9E) of a rotary atomizing head (9).     Abstract: A cartridge changer (41) is composed of a swing arm (48) with a cartridge gripper (48B) for gripping a paint cartridge (24), and an arcuate moving portion (46) for putting the swing arm (48) in swinging movements in a horizontal plane.     Abstract: A housing member includes a main housing body and an intermediate tube provided around the outer periphery of the main housing body.     Abstract: A current sensor for detecting a full return current is connected to a high voltage generator. A leakage current detector including current sensors for detecting a leakage current is provided at the surface of the cover of a coating machine, air passages and a paint passage. Based on current detection values obtained by the current sensors, a high voltage control unit controls a power supply voltage control unit and a high voltage to be output from the high voltage generator can be raised or dropped. By employing the current detection values, the high voltage control unit can identify and provide notification of a location where the leakage current is increased and the insulation is deteriorated, and can request an operator to perform maintenance for the pertinent location. Further, upon occurrence of the insulation being deteriorated, the high voltage control unit can stop the high voltage supply.

    Abstract: A first wash fluid discharging passage having an outlet end thereof opened to an outer peripheral surface is provided on a rotary atomizing head and positioned behind a paint reservoir. A second wash fluid discharging passage having an outlet end thereof opened to the paint reservoir is also provided on the rotary atomizing head positioned around a fore end of a paint tube. Also, a nozzle is provided at a fore outlet end of a wash fluid tube. The nozzle internally defines an annular chamber for pooling a wash fluid. The nozzle includes first and second outlet openings to spurt a wash fluid toward the first and second wash fluid discharging passages. Further, a check valve in the annular chamber of the nozzle prevents a reverse flow of a wash fluid.
