摘要: In the line-by-line recording of films (15') for producing offset printing forms or in the line-by-line exposure of offset printing plates from recording data, i.e. density values of a line, the setting values for the individual zone screws are directly calculated from the density values and are stored or, respectively, directly forwarded to the printing machine (80). Before the forwarding of the setting values to the printing machine (80), density values are advantageously converted into the setting values with masks that, with reference to printing areas, printing surface in the pages (50) and with reference to the register system of the printing machine (80) as well as with reference to the characteristic data of a page (50), contain the allocation of the setting values of the zone screws calculated from the density values of the page (50). These masks can preferably be produced with a PC (60); the setting values can be intermediately stored or can be directly forwarded via an interface to the zone control (70) of the printing machine (80).

摘要: A method for measuring volume of surface depressions wherein the depression to be measured is or filled with a material which emits wavelength-shifted scatter light under irradiation. The material is illuminated with a light source whose wavelength lies in the absorption region of the material and the wavelength-shifted intensity of the scatter light of the material excited by the light source is measured with a photodetector, whereby the measured intensity is a measure of the volume of the surface depression.

摘要: Process and apparatus for the white balancing of the opto-electrical converters of the scanning elements in reproducers for the point-by-point and line-by-line scanning of black and white documents and color documents. The light from the illuminant of the documents being scanned is converted in the opto-electrical converters into video signal levels or color signal levels, and the sensitivity or amplification of the opto-electric converters is so set that the video signal levels or color signal levels correspond to preset reference signal levels. The inconvenient process of scanning the illuminant of the document to be scanned, in order to obtain the light required for white balance, is replaced by a process by which the light from the scanning light source may be dimmed by means of a regulable iris diaphragm, thus corresponding to the scanning light from the illuminant of the document to be scanned. Adjustment of the iris diaphragm may be interrupted in order to reduce the time of operation, and the resulting inexact light reduction may be compensated for by correcting the reference signal levels.

摘要: A method and circuit for driving a stepping motor which is driven by a motor clock output having a time variable frequency. So as to generate the time varying frequency, the constant frequency of a basic clock output is divided by constant first factor and is multiplied by a time variable second factor which is in the range between zero and the first factor. A transfer clock sequence is derived from the basic clock output by a division factor. The second factor is changed by a prescribed increment with the frequency of the transfer clock output at the respective clock times and this prescribed increment determines the frequency change of the motor clock output per clock interval. In this manner, the unavoidable frequency discontinuities can be maintained small and constant over the full frequency range of the motor clock output even by when the frequency of the basic clock output is not high whereby a reliable run-up and a reliable braking of the stepping motor are assured without stepping errors.

摘要: A method and apparatus for acoustic supervision of adjustment of a light bundle composed of component beams with respect to its intensity distribution in an expanse of a reference plane situated in a beam path at right angles to an optical axis of the light bundle. Intensity values I of the component beams lying at a margin of the light wave are measured and the differential intensity values .DELTA.I are identified according to amount and operational sign. An oscillation is generated whose parameters are modified dependent on the amounts and operational signs of the respective differential intensity values. The modified oscillation is made audible as a distinguishable measuring tone for amounts and operational signs of the differential intensity values .DELTA.I.

摘要: In electronic reproduction technology, a method and apparatus for production of color separations from color originals for single color printing. The color original is opto-electronically scanned point-by-point and line-by-line for generating measured color values. Chrominance values are obtained from the measured color values by an adjustable coordinate transformation, and a hue signal is acquired from the chrominance values by quotient formation. A hue control signal is derived from the hue signal, said hue control signal having a maximum value for a selectable separation hue of a color of the scanned original and becoming zero for an adjustable, maximum deviation from the separation hue. During recording of the color separation of a separation hue, the hue control signal is directly employed for controlling the recording element which records the color separation point-by-point and line-by-line. For recording a color separation of a separation color, a color saturation signal and a luminance signal are additionally derived from the measured color value signals, and transformed into a color saturation control signal and a luminance control signal by amplitude and/or non-linear modification. The hue control signal, color saturation control signal, and luminance control signal are combined into the separation signal. The production of color separations for single color printing is significantly improved by the individual setting of the curves of the control signals dependent on hue, color saturation, and luminance on the one hand, and, on the other hand, by a controlled color desaturation.

摘要: Record quality of a bit map of a newspaper page, for example, is checked directly on a display screen without previously manufacturing a material image carrier, such as a film. For this purpose, it is read out in multi-line fashion, preferably in 4 - line fashion. Squares consisting of m (preferably likewise 4) successive points of n (preferably 4) superimposed lines are grouped into one "superpixel" each, and its gray value, for example, is determined as an average of the black-white values of the individual pixels forming the square. The superpixel is displayed with its gray value as a single point on the display screen instead of the m.times.n square.

摘要: A single piece electrode comb or device includes two circuit boards having conductor paths and two separate rows of needle-like recording electrodes which are electrically connected to separate paths of the respective circuit board encapsulated in a single plastic resin body with the electrode rows extending to a recording edge formed in a rib along one edge of the body. To form the electrode comb, a device having two substantially similar rectangular cross-sectional shaped halves is assembled in one position to form a winding core on which a wire is wound with a plurality of turns, clamped and joined to the respective circuit boards which are mounted on faces of the two halves, subsequently the wires are separated along a parting plane and the two halves are disassembled with one being rotated 180.degree. relative to its previous position so that the faces with the recesses are adjacent each other to form a casting mold into which a plastic resin is injected to encapsulate the wires which after hardening of the plastic are trimmed back at least along the recording edge.

摘要: A method and apparatus for producing color separations for single color printing in electronic reproduction, for example in textile, decorative, or packaging printing. A colored master is optoelectronically scanned point-by-point and line-by-line to obtain color signals. Color recognition signals which identify the different colors of the master during scanning are produced from the color signals. Further corrected color separation signals are obtained from the color signals. The corrected color separation signals are controlled by selected color recognition signals representing selected colors of the master. The color separation signals are switched on by the color recognition signals when the corresponding colors in the master are identified, and are switched off when the colors are not present. At least two switched on color separation signals form a recording signal which controls the recording of the color separations for the different colors of the master. As a result, the color graduation or the graduated color distribution at the boundaries of the color areas in the color separations are improved such that the boundaries overlap. Due to the overlapping color areas, zones of mixed printing arise in the color separations. Disturbing color interruptions in the color separations are thus avoided.
