    摘要: The invention relates to a process for electrolytic production of alkali metal chlorate where the demand of pH-adjusting chemicals is largely covered by integrated production of acid and alkali metal hydroxide. The process consists in electrolyzing a partial flow of chlorate electrolyte produced, in a cell provided with a separator, for producing a catholyte containing alkali metal hydroxide and an anolyte containing hydrochloric acid. The catholyte and the anolyte are used in alkalization and acidification in the chlorate process, thus significantly reducing the admission of impurities via externally produced chemicals.

    摘要: A process for the production of chlorine dioxide by reacting in a reaction vessel an alkali metal chlorate, mineral acid and a reducing agent in such proportions that chlorine dioxide is produced in a reaction medium which is maintained at a temperature of from about 50.degree. C. to about 100.degree. C. and at an acidity within a range of from about 5N to about 11N. The reaction medium is subjected to subatmospheric pressure sufficient for evaporating water, a mixture of chlorine dioxide, oxgen and water vapour being withdrawn from an evaporation zone in the reaction vessel, and alkali metal sulfate being precipitated in a crystallization zone in the reaction vessel.     摘要: In the evaporation of process wastewater comprising a mixture of different types of wastewater, problems arise due to the formation of reaction products, so-called incrustations, which are difficult to separate. These incrustations clog up the evaporator, thus necessitating frequent stoppages for chemical and mechanical cleaning of the evaporator. The invention concerns an improved method for concentrating process wastewater by evaporation. In this method, one acid process flow and one alkaline process flow are evaporated alternately in one and the same evaporator. With this method, precipitates that are difficult to separate are dissolved in the evaporator during the respective evaporations. As a result, stoppages motivated by the need to clean the evaporator may be avoided to the utmost possible extent, while less and cheaper processing equipment is required.
