Abstract: Provided is a scalable video-decoding method based on multiple layers. The scalable video-decoding method according to the present invention comprises: a step of predicting first filter information of a video to be filtered using the information contained in an object layer and/or information contained in another layer, and generating second filter information in accordance with the prediction; and a step of filtering the video to be filtered using the second filter information. According to the present invention, the amount of information being transmitted is reduced, and video compression performance is improved.

Abstract: A method for decoding an image, the method including decoding base block size information on a size of a base block from a bitstream, decoding residual presence information of a decoding object unit from the bitstream, the residual presence information indicating whether the decoding object unit has residual signal or not, when the residual presence information indicates that the decoding object unit has the residual signal, decoding a residual quantization parameter of the decoding object unit from the bitstream, determining a quantization parameter of the decoding object unit based on the residual quantization parameter of the decoding object unit, and performing inverse quantization for the decoding object unit based on the quantization parameter.

Abstract: Disclosed is an optical receiver and an error correction method performed by the optical receiver, receiving, using a receiving antenna or a photodetector, a training signal in which an error occurs due to noise and distortion while being output from an optical transmitter and transmitted through a communication channel and identifying a hyperplane for classifying a probability that the received training signal is a training signal corresponding to a training signal output from the optical signal using a support vector machine (SVM) and learning a parameter of the identified hyperplane such that a classification error probability is minimized when the probability is extracted using the identified hyperplane, wherein the parameter of the identified hyperplane is used to correct an error occurring while a transmission signal output from the optical signal is received using the receiving antenna or the photodetector.

Abstract: Provided is a radar device including a clock generator, a transmitter, and a receiver. The clock generator may output a transmission clock, and output a reception clock after a delay from a time at which the transmission clock is output. The transmitter may include a transmission trigger signal generator to generate a transmission trigger signal based on the transmission clock and an oscillator configured to generate a first signal on the basis of the transmission trigger signal. The first signal and the transmission trigger signal may include a pulse, and a width and a magnitude of the pulse included in the first signal correspond to a width and a magnitude of the pulse included in the transmission trigger signal, respectively. The receiver may be configured to receive an echo signal corresponding to the first signal to generate a second signal based on the reception clock.

Abstract: Provided is a device for microwave hyperthermia that may attach a flexible patch on the skin of a user based on a cross-section of a body tissue of the user, for example, a joint and muscle of a leg and an arm and may emit microwaves towards a plurality of points of the body tissue through the patch. The microwaves emitted toward the body tissue may have the same phase and maximum power. Accordingly, a maximum heat generation point may be generated in an area adjacent to the plurality of points. The device for microwave hyperthermia may move the maximum heat generation point by sequentially changing a phase and a direction of each of the microwaves. The device for microwave hyperthermia may uniformly distribute and maintain heat for treating pain and/or infection over the entire cross-section or a partial area. The device for microwave hyperthermia may be portable.
