    摘要: An alloy steel powder for powder metallurgy includes an iron-based powder containing about 0.5 mass percent or less of Mn as a prealloyed element and 0.2 to about 1.5 mass percent of Mo as a prealloyed element; and a Mo-containing alloy powder bonded on the surface of the iron-based powder by diffusion bonding. In the alloy steel powder for powder metallurgy, a Mo average content [MO]T (mass percent) satisfies formula 0.8≧[M]T—[Mo]P≧0.05, wherein the content [Mo]P is the above prealloyed Mo content (mass percent) in the iron-based powder.

    摘要: A hot-rolled steel strip having superior low temperature toughness and weldability, which is suitably used as a starting material for high strength electric resistance welding pipe, is provided at a low cost without constructing new production facilities and increasing cost. Specifically, a method for producing a high tensile strength hot-rolled steel sheet having superior strain aging hardenability with a BH of 80 MPa or more, a ΔTS of 40 MPa or more, and a tensile strength of 440 MPa or more includes the steps of heating a steel slab to 1,000° C. or more, the steel slab containing, in percent by mass, 0.15% or less of C, 0.45% or less of Si, 3.0% or less of Mn, 0.08% or less of P, 0.02% or less of S, 0.02% or less of Al, 0.0050% to 0.0250% of N, and optionally 0.1% or less in total of at least one of more than 0.02% to 0.1% of Nb and more than 0.02% to 0.1% of V, the ratio N (mass %)/Al (mass %) being 0.86 or more; rough-rolling the steel slab to form a sheet bar; finish-rolling the sheet bar at a finishing temperature of 800° C. or more; cooling at a cooling rate of 20° C. to 40° C./s or more within 0.5 second after the finish-rolling; and coiling at a temperature of 650° C. to 450° C. or less.

    摘要: In a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet having phosphate-based coatings, which contain no chromium and which impart a tension, on the surfaces of a steel sheet with ceramic underlying films therebetween, the coating amount of oxygen in the underlying film is 2.0 g/m2 or more and 3.5 g/m2 or less relative to both surfaces of the steel sheet. Consequently, a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet with a chromium-less coating is provided. The resulting steel sheet has coating properties at the same level as those of a steel sheet with chromium-containing coatings and realizes high hygroscopicity resistance and a low iron loss without variations.

    摘要: A ferritic stainless steel sheet for fuel tanks and fuel pipes comprises, by mass percent, about 0.1% or less of C; about 1.0% or less of Si; about 1.5% or less of Mn; about 0.06% or less of P; about 0.03% or less of S; about 1.0% or less of Al; about 11% to about 20% Cr; about 2.0% or less of Ni; about 0.5% to about 3.0% Mo; about 0.02% to about 1.0% V; about 0.04% or less of N; at least one of about 0.01% to about 0.8% Nb and about 0.01% to about 1.0% Ti; and the balance being Fe and incidental impurities. The ferritic stainless steel sheet is produced by rough-rolling a slab having the above composition; hot-rolling the rough-rolled sheet under a linear pressure of at least about 3.5 MN/m at a final pass in the finish rolling; cold-rolling the hot-rolled sheet at a gross reduction rate of at least about 75%; and annealing the cold-rolled sheet. The cold-rolling step includes one rolling stage or at least two rolling stages including intermediate annealing.
