Abstract: A method of manufacturing a component of a rolling-element bearing includes: providing a steel body having a carbon content of less than 0.3 weight-%, a chromium content of greater than 8.0 weight-%, and a nitrogen content of less than 0.1 weight-%; high-temperature solution nitriding the steel body; after the high-temperature solution nitriding, performing an intermediate tempering process to reduce a size of austenite grains in the steel body; and after the intermediate tempering process, performing a reaustenitizing annealing. Also the component made by the method.

Abstract: Provided is a method of manufacturing a high strength steel sheet having excellent workability, including: reheating a steel slab; hot-rolling the reheated steel slab at an Ar3 transformation point or higher; coiling in a temperature range of 400 to 700° C.; primary cooling at a cooling rate of 0.1° C./s or less to room temperature; producing a cold rolled steel sheet at a cold reduction ratio of 40 to 70%; continuously annealing the cold rolled steel sheet in a temperature range of Ac1+30° C. to Ac3−20° C.; secondary cooling at a cooling rate of 10° C./s or less to 630 to 670° C.; third cooling to 400 to 500° C. at a cooling rate of 5° C./s or more in a hydrogen; maintaining for 70 seconds or more; hot-dip galvanizing; and performing a final cooling to Ms or less at a cooling rate of 1° C./s or more.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a steel sheet for a hot press formed member having excellent coating adhesion, and a method for manufacturing the same. A steel sheet for hot press forming according to one aspect of the present invention is an aluminum alloy plated steel sheet, wherein an average Fe content in a plating layer may be 40 wt % or more, and a concentration gradient of a section having a Fe content of 45 wt % to 80 wt % in the plating layer may 7 wt %/μm or less of a concentration gradient at a section having an Fe content of 45% to 80% in the plating layer in a thickness direction from a surface of the plating layer according to a result of GDS analysis.

Abstract: An alloy includes a composition, in weight percent, of aluminum from about 1.3% to about 1.8%, cobalt from about 1.5% to about 4.0%, chromium from about 18.0% to about 22.0%, iron from about 4.0% to about 10.0%, molybdenum from about 1.0% to about 3.0%, niobium from about 1.0% to about 2.5%, titanium from about 1.3% to about 1.8%, tungsten from about 0.8% to about 1.2%, carbon from about 0.01% to about 0.08%, and balance nickel and incidental impurities. The alloy has a stress rupture life at 700° C. and 393.7 MPa (57.1 ksi) of at least 300 hours and a room temperature percent elongation of at least 15% after aging at 700° C. for 1,000 hours.
