摘要： A system and method for communicating data from a medical device to a lighting device is provided. The system may include the medical device, the lighting device, and/or one or more interface devices. The medical device may be configured to transmit data to the lighting device, which for example, may include information relating to the medical device, dosage information, diagnostic data, medical device training feedback, health monitoring information, and/or air quality information. The lighting device may be configured to receive data from the medical device and control one or more lighting characteristics based on the received data. A characteristic of the light may include one or more of color, color temperature, intensity, flashing or steady-state, on or off, and/or the like. The system may provide for a home based adherence and/or compliance monitoring system, in which a patient's interaction with a medical device may be monitored and an alert/indication provided.

摘要： An inhaler includes a mouth-piece cover, a pressure sensor, a first indicator and a second indicator. The first indicator may be configured to indicate based on a state of the cover, and the second indicator may be configured to indicate based on an output of the pressure sensor. For example, when the mouthpiece cover opens, the first indicator may illuminate and a dose of medication may be transferred from a reservoir to a dosing cup. The second indicator may illuminate if an amount of inhaled medication reaches a predetermined threshold for successful inhalation.

摘要： The present disclosure provides an inhaler having a vibration element for aerosolizing medicament contained in a blister pack, wherein individual blister packs are positioned within the housing to be simultaneously engaged with the flow channel and the vibration element. The flow channel includes a blister pack clamping surface that engages the blister pack near the top of the crown and allows the blister three rotational degrees of freedom. The advantages of this arrangement include improved consistency and higher airspeed of the synthetic jet, as well as other advantages.

摘要： The invention provides an inhalation device using an electrically driven vibratory element for releasing a drug dose into a flow channel, and a controller for activating/deactivating the vibratory element. A sensor arrangement is able to differentiate between inhalation flow and exhalation flow through the flow channel, to assist in forming a model of the breathing pattern of the user. The device can detect reliably inhalation flow patterns from patients of all ages.
