    Abstract: [Problem] A scroll compressor is provided which has improved workability when a back pressure chamber and a compression chamber are communicated with each other.
    [Solution] A scroll compressor 1 includes a back pressure chamber 39 formed in a back surface of a mirror plate 31 of a movable scroll 22 in the scroll compressor 1, and a communication hole 51 which is formed in the mirror plate 31 of the movable scroll 22 and communicates the back pressure chamber 39 and a compression chamber 3-1 with each other. The communication hole 51 is constituted of a large-diameter hole section 52 located on the back pressure chamber 33 side of the mirror plate 31 of the movable scroll 22, and a small-diameter hole section 53 which continues from the large-diameter hole section 52 to reach the compression chamber 34.

    Abstract: The present invention quickly stops rotation of an electric compressor while preventing damage to switching elements. An electric compressor 1 comprises a motor drive circuit 52 having multiple switching elements IGBT Q1 to Q6, a control unit 53 that controls driving of the multiple switching elements IGBT Q1 to Q6 and drives a motor 4, and a current detection unit 54 that detects a current flowing through the motor drive circuit 52. The control unit 53 performs stop control that stops rotation of the compression mechanism 3 by performing braking control that controls drive of predetermined switching elements IGBT (Q2, Q4, Q6 and the like) among the multiple switching elements IGBT Q1 to Q6. In the brake control, when the detected current value I is lower than the first threshold I1, the control unit 53 adjusts the drive pattern of the predetermined switching elements IGBT (Q2, Q4, Q6 and the like) in order to prevent the detected current value I from exceeding the second threshold I2 that is lower than the first threshold I1.

    Abstract: [Problem] A scroll compressor is provided which is capable of effectively reducing a pressure loss in a pathway extending from a discharge space to a discharge port.
    [Solution] The scroll compressor includes a discharge space 27 formed in a compressing mechanism cover 9 of a housing 11, a discharge hole 26 which is formed in a fixed scroll 21 and discharges a compressed refrigerant to the discharge space, a discharge port 51 which discharges the refrigerant to the outside of the housing, a relief passage 71 which communicates the discharge space and the discharge port with each other, and a differential pressure valve 74 which is provided in the relief passage and opens in accordance with a pressure difference between the discharge space and the discharge port. The relief passage opens in the discharge space above the discharge hole.

    Abstract: Provided is an electromagnetic clutch capable of shortening, even in a low temperature atmosphere, the fuse reaction time from when a rotating shaft is locked, while preventing or suppressing malfunction of the thermal fuse. An electromagnetic clutch 1 is equipped with a rotor 2, an armature 3, an electromagnetic coil unit 4, a thermal fuse 5, and a thermally actuated switch 6. The thermally actuated switch 6 is connected in series to an electromagnetic coil 41 of the electromagnetic coil unit 4 along with the thermal fuse 5. When a temperature of the thermally actuated switch 6 exceeds a switching temperature (predetermined temperature) Ts, the thermally actuated switch 6 is displaced in an electric power supply OFF direction, and thereafter, it is displaced in an electric power supply ON direction due to a reduction in temperature. The thermally actuated switch 6 turns ON/OFF the electric power supply to the electromagnetic coil 41 such that the thermal fuse vicinity temperature T1 does not exceed the operational temperature Tf of the thermal fuse 5 due to self-heating of the electromagnetic coil 41 itself generated by the electric power supplied to the electromagnetic coil 41, thereby preventing malfunction of the thermal fuse 5 due to self-heating of the electromagnetic coil 41.

    Abstract: Provided is a motor control device having a function for determining a rotor position of a synchronous motor, without use of a sensor, the device prevents obtaining an erroneous rotor position, to enable stable control of the synchronous motor based on the rotor position in both the normal-control region and the flux-weakening-control region. The motor control device 1 includes: a first rotor position determining unit 19 that determines a rotor position of the synchronous motor 2 based on a current electrical angle, and a first current phase obtained from a current peak value and a difference between an induced voltage electrical angle and a current electrical angle; a second rotor position determining unit 20 that determines the rotor position of the synchronous motor 2 based on the current electrical angle, and a second current phase obtained from a flux linkage and the current peak value; and a selecting unit 21 that selects the first rotor position determining unit 19 or the second rotor position determining unit 20, based on the current peak value, and the first current phase or the second current phase.

    Abstract: An electric compressor is provided which is capable of reducing the number of components in an inverter circuit section installed in an inverter storing section and attaining its miniaturization as well. A sleeve assembly (18) of an inverter circuit section (3) has positioning pins (37) and (38) for an inverter control board (17) and a power module (14). The positioning pins (37) and (38) are thermally caulked in a state in which the sleeve assembly (18) is interposed by the inverter control board (17) and the power module (14) to thereby make the inverter circuit section (3) integral. The integrated inverter circuit section (3) is installed in an inverter storing section (8) constituted on an outer surface of a housing (2).
