摘要: Solutions and methods are disclosed herein for generating a key from outputs of a Physically Unclonable Function (PUF) and using the key for a cryptographic algorithm. In one embodiment, a device generates the key, which comprises (i) receiving a request to generate a key comprising a defined number of bits for a particular cryptography algorithm and (ii) responsive to receiving the request, generating a valid key for the particular cryptography algorithm. The step of generating the valid key further comprises (a) generating one or more first challenges for a PUF, which is one or more of a plurality of challenges in a challenge space of the PUF, (b) generating a first potential key based on one or more first responses by the PUF responsive to the one or more first challenges, and (c) determining whether the first potential key satisfies one or more predefined criteria for the particular cryptography algorithm.

A method in a receiving node includes: receiving one or more code block groups, CBGs, each CBG comprising a CBG header indicative of a start location of a first protocol data unit, PDU, within the CBG; attempting to decode each received CBG; responsive to failing to decode a first CBG, attempting to decode a second CBG, and responsive to successfully decoding the second CBG: identifying the start location of the first PDU in the second CBG; buffering data of the second CBG prior to the identified start location; and forwarding data of PDUs following the identified start location.

摘要: The disclosure relates to a method in a wireless device for transmitting an uplink signalling message in a wireless communication network. The wireless device is connected to a first network element over at least a first and a second wireless link. The method comprises determining a transmission mode among alternative transmission modes for transmitting the uplink signalling message. The alternative transmission modes comprise: transmitting on the first wireless link; transmitting on the second wireless link; and transmitting on both the first and the second wireless links. 摘要: The invention relates to a method and an arrangement for reducing power consumption of a receiver in a mobile communication network comprising a sender transmitting packet data on a downlink channel to one or more receivers over a radio interface. Inactive time instants and listening time instants are defined according to provided rules. The receiver is arranged to listen for information from the sender during the listening time instants and to sleep during the inactive time instants. Thus, less power will be consumed during the inactive time instants.

摘要: A user equipment, a network node and methods thereof for timing of scheduling of resources in a frequency division duplex system are disclosed. The user equipment and network node operate in a frequency division duplex communication system. The network node determines (400) whether a user equipment is prohibited to receive an uplink grant in at least one downlink subframe, e.g. if the user equipment is configured with ABS or with half-duplex operation. Furthermore, if the user equipment is prohibited to receive an uplink grant in at least one downlink subframe, the network node sends (410) an indication to the user equipment to apply a time division duplex configuration to the timing of scheduling of resources. The user equipment receives (420) the indication and thereupon applies (430) the time division duplex configuration to the timing of scheduling of resources.

摘要: A method of operating a wireless communication device in a wireless communication network is disclosed. The wireless communication device transitions between a plurality of modes, wherein the plurality of modes further includes a sleep mode, wherein the wireless communication device does not listen for downlink data transmissions, and the plurality of modes further includes an active mode, wherein the wireless communication device listens for downlink data transmissions. While the wireless communication device is operating in the active mode, it receives control signalling from a transmitter to adjust a length of time for transitioning between a first mode among the plurality of modes and a second mode among the plurality of modes based on one or more sleep rules. The wireless communication device transitions from the first mode to the second mode based, at least in part, on the adjusted length of time.

摘要: There is provided support mechanisms for at least one adding and removing a cell from operation in a heterogeneous radio network having a first type of basic cell for providing basic radio coverage and a second type of cell associated to a basic cell as a capacity enhancing cell. A capacity enhancing cell is selectively switched on and off. When the capacity enhancing cell is shut down the cell does not exist over the air while cell configuration information is kept. When the capacity enhancing cell is switched on the cell becomes available again over the air interface. An indication of shut-down and a wake-up call message for switch-on of the capacity enhancing cell are communicated between a base station serving the capacity enhancing cell and a base station serving the basic cell. In this way energy savings can be supported without disrupting service availability.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed that relate to management of uplink (UL) transmissions in unlicensed spectrum. In some embodiments, a method of operation of a network node in a wireless communication network comprises signaling, to a wireless device, an indication of one or more allocated sets of Resource Blocks (RBs) that are allocated to the wireless device by a UL grant for transmission on a UL carrier in an unlicensed frequency spectrum. The one or more allocated sets of RBs are one or more of a plurality of defined sets of RBs that correspond to a plurality of interlaces, respectively, that each spread out across an entire bandwidth of the UL carrier. In this manner, higher UL user and system performance can be obtained.
