摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide methods and apparatuses for multicast/broadcast service (MBS). A method performed by at a session management function (SMF) comprises receiving a session activation notification comprising a temporary mobile group identity (TMGI) from a multicast/broadcast session management function (MB-SMF). The method further comprises finding at least one user equipment (UE) that joined a MBS session identified by the TMGI. The method further comprises sending a MBS session notification request to an access and mobility function (AMF). The MBS session notification request includes a list of the at least one UE, respective identifier of respective protocol data unit (PDU) session associated to the MBS session of the at least one UE and the TMGI.

摘要: An enhanced communication of recovery information related to restart of a NF Service provider of NF consumer (e.g., NF Service Instance, NF Service Set, NF Instance, NF Set) is introduced. In exemplary embodiments, a recovery timestamp in a restart notification related to the restart of a NF Service provider or NF consumer is associated with the NF Service provider or NF consumer corresponding to the binding level of session contexts served by the service provider or NF consumer. The NF Service provider/consumer may be a NF Service Instance, NF Service Set, NF Instance and NF Set. In the case of a failure, the recovery timestamp populated in a recovery notification is matching the binding level of session contexts which will be affected by the failed NF Service provider/consumer. The recovery timestamp may be included in indirect signaling via a NRF and in direct signal between NFs. Further the recovery timestamp can be included in the header of a restart notification or in a message body of the restart notification. The restart notification may be a service request/response, notification request/response, or a Subscription request/response.

摘要: A method for subscribing to notification of a change of a network function may comprise: transmitting a subscription message to a monitoring network function; and receiving a notification from the monitoring network function to notify a change from the network function whose status is required to be monitored. The subscription message indicates a type of the network function, and further indicates an attribute of the network function. The attribute comprises a serving scope indicating one or more target served area of the network function whose status is required to be monitored. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, a simple and fast implementation for subscribing notification of change of network function may be achieved. Particularly, both the response time and the accuracy of the notification about a change of a subscribed network function may be improved.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a method by an AMF node 120-4 operative in a 5GS that comprises a UE 112 associated with a Subscriber Permanent Identifier (SUPI) that is associated with subscription data of the UE. The method comprises: sending towards a SMF node, a request relating to a PDU Session of the UE and comprising a Request Type that is set to Existing PDU Session; and receiving from the SMF node, a response comprising a Generic Public Subscription Identifier (GPSI) of the PDU session, which GPSI is associated with the SUPI and which GPSI is to be used in networks outside the 5GS for addressing the subscription data of the UE.

摘要: Methods, apparatus and computer program products for binding information management. A method implemented at a policy control node in a wireless communication network comprises: obtaining information indicating a collocated deployment of a session management node and a binding support node (202); and inhibiting, in response to the information, a registration of binding information to the binding support node (204). A policy control node can know that a binding support node is collocated with a session management node, and no registration of binding information to the binding support node will be triggered for the policy control node.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide method and apparatus for monitoring event configuration. A method performed by a first mobile management node comprises receiving information regarding a first interworking service capability exposure function (IWK-SCEF) from a second mobile management node. The method further comprises determining whether the first mobile management node and the second mobile management node use a same IWK-SCEF based on the information regarding the first IWK-SCEF. The method further comprises sending an indication of whether the first mobile management node and the second mobile management node use the same IWK-SCEF to the second mobile management node.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide methods and apparatus for indirect data forwarding. A method at a mobility management node comprises sending, to a serving gateway entity in the first system, a request for creating an indirect data forwarding tunnel. The request comprises an indication flag for indicating to the serving gateway entity that an indirect data forwarding tunnel is to be created with a user plane function entity in a second system. The method further comprises receiving a response for the request from the serving gateway entity.
