摘要： A stand-alone chamber or multi-chamber inhalation system has at least two alternative vaporized test liquid supply systems for passive or self-administered delivery of vaporized test fluid and air to one or more test chambers, which can be passive or restraint chambers, based on operator selection of delivery on and off times in a passive mode or actuation of an actuator in the chamber by a test animal in a self-administered mode. In one case, a multiple inhalation chamber system has two or more separate test fluid delivery systems and provides options for selective passive uniform drug delivery to multiple chambers or selective delivery of two or more different drugs to different groups of chambers from different delivery systems so that two different drugs or different concentrations of delivered drugs can be tested simultaneously.

摘要： A deployable corral system for a transport trailer, such as a livestock trailer, provides a readily deployable corral along the trailer, and is readily stowable along the trailer in a retracted configuration for travel. The corral includes a pair of spaced-apart and extendable corral rails with a cross-rail extending between distal ends of the extendable corral rails. When the extendable corral rails are extended the cross-rail is spaced from an exterior side of the livestock trailer, and when the extendable corral rails are retracted the cross-rail is positioned near a roof of the trailer. The extendable corral rails move between the extended and retracted positions manually, or automatically with a drive system. Optionally, the drive system is powered by motors associated with linear or rotary actuators. Further options may include storage bins along the cross-rail, a deployable shade awning, a deployable trough, jack stands, securing flaps, and position sensors.

摘要： A hollow polymer stall divider for use in a barn permits lateral flexing when a cow presses against the stall divider while the stall divider asserts a lateral force against the cow to urge the cow to move into a proper position between adjacent stall dividers without causing injury to the cow. The polymer stall divider can be formed of a single polymer material having a unitary density throughout. Alternatively, the polymer stall divider can be formed of multiple sections of different densities of polymer material, and different types of polymer material. The different sections of polymer material can be plastic welded together or connected by plug members inserted into the adjoining ends of the sections and secured with adhesives or other bonding material to form line blanks that can be heated until softened sufficiently to be bent into a proper shape within a pre-formed mold.

摘要： A compact, animal-operated animal feeder is disclosed in which the feeder housing has a pair of foldable doors mounted over a feed opening and latched in a closed position. The doors can be unlatched by the animal, which carries a latch release device about its neck, and the natural tendency of the animal to push toward the feed will fold the doors laterally to an open position permitting access to food inside the feeder. A magnetic latch release assembly in which a plurality of permanent magnets are arranged in an array to provide a key for release of a latch having correspondingly arranged magnets is also disclosed. A compound door including a magnetically releasable latch assembly is also disclosed.

摘要： A first open frame member has a U-shape frame member and a gate pivotally connected thereto with the gate movable between the frame members for sorting animals in either of two directions through the open frame members. A three-way sorting gate is possible by utilizing two of the first frame members with gates in parallel relation. A four-way sorting gate is provided by adding a two-way sorting gate and a five-way sorting gate is provided by combining two three-way sorting gates. In each instance the second frame member has top and bottom elements which pivot to the inner vertical element of the first frame member and the gate has a tube through which the vertical element of the first frame member extends. Each of the gates may be compactly folded for storage and transport.
