摘要: An organizer is provided for holding surgical forceps in a ready position. Each surgical forceps includes a pair of shanks with distal tips, proximal ring handles, and a ratchet mechanism adjacent the ring handles. The organizer has a base, and a wedge-shaped core projecting upwards along a vertical axis from the base. The core has a profile adapted to fit within a respective opening of each respective forceps bounded by the shanks and the ratchet mechanism when the ratchet mechanisms are engaged. A plurality of wings project radially from the core to define a plurality of substantially U-shaped channels between adjacent wings. The channels are configured to nest the shanks of the forceps so that the respective forceps are locked in the grooves by their respective ratchet mechanisms.

摘要: A device for visualizing and providing suction for a surgical procedure in an ear may include a handle, a main shaft extending from the handle, an imaging sensor at a distal end of the main shaft, a light source at the distal end of the main shaft, and a suction shaft extending from the handle. The device may also include a spring coupled with the suction shaft and/or the handle, such that when the suction shaft is advanced in a distal direction and then released, the suction shaft retracts automatically. The suction shaft may have a distal curved portion, and the device may have a thumb depress portion that allows a user to spin the suction shaft to suction in different directions. Some embodiments may include a suction shaft with a sharp distal tip that is configured for placing an ear tube in the tympanic membrane.

The fitting structure includes a slider of a resectoscope operating handle and a binding post of an electrode. The slider has a front surface and a back surface. The binding post is mounted in the mounting groove, and an axial direction of the binding post is perpendicular to a plane where the handle is located. The resectoscope operating handle and electrode fitting structure and fitting method of the present invention can ensure that an electrode is accurately and firmly fixed to an operating handle under the condition of convenience in operation.

摘要: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for insertion tools for implanting electrode leads. In one embodiment, an insertion tool comprises a shaft having an outer cannula and an inner cannula. An actuator may be configured to transition the insertion tool between at least three configurations. In a first configuration, the inner cannula and the outer cannula are configured to receive the lead in the shaft. In a second configuration, the inner cannula and the outer cannula are configured to secure the lead in the shaft. In a third configuration, the inner cannula and the outer cannula are configured to cause the lead to separate from the insertion tool and implant in adjacent tissue.

Advantageously, the connection portion (2) comprises at least one through-hole (23, 33) for receiving a guide tube (10) for a drilling bit, the through-hole (22, 33) having an axis coinciding with the axis of one of the transverse holes (3, 13,) and manually operated quick-locking means (25) are associated with the through-hole (23, 33) so as to lock in a stable position the corresponding tube (10) inserted in the instrument (1).

摘要: The present disclosure is directed a method of facilitating treatment via a vascular wall defining a vascular lumen containing an occlusion therein. The method may include providing a first intravascular device having a distal portion and at least one aperture and positioning the distal portion of the first intravascular device in the vascular wall. The method may further include providing a reentry device having a body and a distal tip, the distal tip having a natural state and a compressed state and inserting the distal tip, in the compressed state, in the distal portion of the first intravascular device. The method may further include advancing the distal tip, in the natural state, through the at least one aperture of the first intravascular device.
