摘要: The present invention relates to a reflux disease treatment apparatus, comprising two or more movement restriction device segments adapted to form an implantable movement restriction device with an elongated shape that maintains cardia in the correct position. The movement restriction device has proximal and a distal end, wherein the distal end is adapted to stabilize and hold the proximal end. The invention further comprises a control device for controlling the stimulation device to stimulate the cardia sphincter. The distal end can be further adapted to treat obesity, for example by stretching the wall of the stomach or filling out a volume of the stomach.

摘要: An ultrasonic scalpel, an energy instrument for surgical use, and a control method therefor; the scalpel including a handheld component and a control module; the handheld component provided with a trigger button. The trigger button is connected to an input terminal of the control module; the control module is electrically connected to an energy generating apparatus; and, if the trigger button is pressed, then the control module controls the energy generating apparatus to output ultrasonic energy, and, if the trigger button is released, then the control module controls the energy generating apparatus to stop outputting ultrasonic energy. In response to a first trigger signal triggered by an external switching action, each time the trigger button is pressed, the energy generating apparatus changes the current energy output state, the changed energy output state being maintained until the trigger button is pressed again.

摘要: An aspiration thrombectomy system including an aspiration catheter having a proximal end and a distal end, the aspiration catheter having a lumen to accommodate fluid, a vacuum source including a controllable vacuum valve, a tubing connected to the aspiration catheter, and a controller configured to detect a change in a catheter diameter corresponding to a change in the connection between the aspiration catheter and the tubing. The controller is configured to change a pulsation protocol associated with the aspiration catheter responsive to the change in the catheter diameter, and the pulsation protocol specifies pressure variations and pressure patterns to modulate the vacuum valve to change a level of vacuum at the distal end of the aspiration catheter.

摘要: Cyclic aspiration system producing a cyclic aspiration pressure waveform of intermittent cyclic intervals of vacuum pressure below atmospheric pressure and a positive pressure higher than the vacuum pressure. The system including an aspiration catheter, a vacuum pump, and connected in fluid communication therebetween a positive pressure pulse generator mechanism including at least one displaceable member displaceable within a housing, wherein the at least one displaceable member controls passage therethrough the housing of the vacuum pressure and produces the positive pressure pulse by compressing collectable fluid therein. The system further including at least one actuator arranged externally of the housing displacing the at least one displaceable member within the housing.

摘要: A tissue collection and processing system for collecting bone fragments and tissue aspirated from a bone. The tissue collection and processing system includes a collection vessel, a collection vessel cap, a processing piston, a first tubing and a fluid withdrawal mechanism. The collection vessel has an opening formed therein to receive bone fragments and tissue aspirated from the bone. The collection vessel cap is capable of engaging the collection vessel to substantially seal the opening. The collection vessel cap or the collection vessel has a first port. The processing piston has an upper surface and a lower surface. The processing piston has a connection port and a bore. The connection port is proximate the upper surface. The bore is fluidly connected to the connection port and extends toward the lower surface. The processing piston has a density that is less than a density of fluid in the aspirated bone fragments and tissue. The fluid withdrawal mechanism is fluidly connected to the connection port with the first tubing to withdraw the fluid from the collection vessel. As fluid is withdrawn from the collection vessel, the processing piston is slidable in the collection vessel.

摘要: Device and method for implantation of hair grafts into the scalp of a patient. In the device, a cross-sectional shape of a rod riding in an implantation needle is configured with respect to the needle to communicate a vacuum in a chamber anterior to the needle forward to an interior of the needle, thereby facilitating loading of the hair graft into the device by direct-to-needle aspiration of the hair graft.
