    摘要： A vertically moveable patient table is provided with a footrest extension that may be locked in either an operative, extended position or a stowed position beneath an adjacent leg section of the table. In the stowed position the footrest extension actuates a switch which permits the table to be moved freely up and down. However, when the footrest extension is in any position other than stowed, movement of the table is restricted to prevent accidental contact of the footrest extension with a floor or other supporting surface as the table is lowered.

    摘要： A seating device for maneuvering a body part comprising a fully adjustable chair including a base assembly, an occupant supporting assembly and an elevator assembly including drive mechanisms for raising, lowering and tilting the occupant supporting assembly. The chair has a head rest, leg rest, chest rest and a plurality of arm rests. The chair has full adjustment in all axes: rotation around a vertical central axis; vertical height adjustment; fully adjustable seat back for proper lumbar support; and tilt of the seat. The base assembly includes a power unit biased toward the floor. The invention permits support of the occupant with a full range of adjustment so that the occupant can have proper positioning for selected medical procedures and body part positions.

    摘要： A chair assembly intended for use when taking X-ray pictures includes a chair and wheels for rotating and moving the chair relative to a carriage structure in the directions of the X- and Y-coordinates. Movement in the direction of these coordinates is effected by two guide frames provided with guides. A separate support frame provided with castors is arranged on the seat parts of the chair to prevent the chair from toppling or tipping. The castors of the support frame are normally located at a small distance from the underlying support surface, so as not to impede rotational and coordinate movements of respective chair members. Chair movements are controlled by a stirrup-like control bar having provided in the central portion thereof other control parts for activating the release of locking parts which lock the chair components against rotary movement and movement in the direction of the coordinates.
