摘要: A dermatological phototherapy device, system, and method, including a light emitting device configured and arranged to emit light from a bottom surface thereof; and an attachment portion having an aperture therethrough configured to permit light through. The attachment portion is configured to retain the device to a user's skin using a circumferential silicone skirt and bathe the skin with phototherapeutic light from the light emitter. Attachment of the device may be preceded with the application of synergistic fluid, ointment, gel, cream, lotion, foam, soap, or other solutions which may or may not consist of known topical treatment agents, augment device attachment to the skin, and/or have photodynamic properties. The light emitted may be any wavelength, combinations of wavelengths, intensity, pulse frequency, and exposure duration.

摘要: A wearable for providing light therapy to a wearer includes at least one fabric panel having an inner surface that when the wearable is worn is configured to face a wearer's skin and at least one side-emitting optical fiber affixed to the inner surface. The side-emitting optical fiber is optically connectable with an optical fiber light source and configured to project light having a therapeutic wavelength toward a wearer of the wearable. When affixed to the fabric panel, the side-emitting optical fiber can have a length in meters based on the optical power launched into the side-emitting optical fiber and the average attenuation of the side-emitting optical fiber.

摘要: A wearable fabric for photo-stimulating a biological system includes at least one piece of textile, a plurality of bioceramic particles, and at least one nutrient-based precursor. The at least one piece of textile includes a plurality of interwoven polymeric fibers, an outer textile surface, and an inner textile surface. The outer textile surface and the inner textile surface are positioned opposite to each other about the at least one piece of textile. The quantity of bioceramic particles is uniformly integrated amongst the plurality of interwoven polymeric fibers. The at least one nutrient-based precursor is integrated amongst the plurality of interwoven polymeric fibers as the at least one nutrient-based precursor is configured to frictionally dislodge from the plurality of interwoven polymeric fibers as the inner textile surface is in physical contact with a wearer's skin to stimulate the production of Vitamin D and to stimulate bone growth.

摘要: Intraoral phototherapy devices receive light from an associated light source and propagate the light into an oral cavity of a patient. The device comprises a light guide that receives light from an external light source. The light guide comprises a main body portion made of an optically transparent soft flexible biocompatible polymeric material sized and shaped to conform to contours of the oral cavity when inserted therein to direct the light to targeted regions of the oral cavity. The main body portion comprises a pair of spaced apart side wings sized and shaped to be received between a patient's teeth and cheeks on opposite sides of the oral cavity and a center flap intermediate the side wings for transmitting and directing the light to targeted regions of the oral cavity. A controller delivers light to the light guide in a controlled manner.
