    摘要: An adapter for a fire extinguisher includes a cylinder which has an internal volume for storage of an extinguishing agent and a neck through which the internal volume may be accessed, a release valve, and a dip tube. The adapter defines a first flow path through the adapter for the extinguishing agent during introduction or charging of the extinguishing agent into the internal volume of the cylinder. The adapter at least partially defines or accommodates a second flow path for the extinguishing agent through the adapter during discharging of the fire extinguisher of which the adapter is part. The first and second flow paths are different.

The resilient bumper is positioned within an opening of the lug. The resilient bumper is positioned between the handle and the lug of the cylinder and is configured to absorb vibration and limit movement of the free end relative to the cylinder.

    摘要: The present invention provides a fire extinguishing apparatus being inexpensive in manufacturing cost, easy to handle, and it enables a storage tank to be refilled with fire extinguishing sand during a fire extinguishing. A fire extinguishing apparatus of the present invention includes a sand container having fire extinguishing sand a nitrogen gas cylinder, and an ejector provided nitrogen gas taken out via a decompression valve from the nitrogen gas cylinder. The ejector is connected to a suction tube sucking the fire extinguishing sand from the sand container using negative pressure generated by a nitrogen gas stream and a delivery tube delivering the sucked fire extinguishing sand and the nitrogen gas. The sand container has a lid plate provided with a sand inlet enabling opening and closing, which enables the sand container to be refilled with the fire extinguishing sand during a fire extinguishing.

Systems in place today require the servicing of a third party. The service companies (third parties) are charged with maintaining the system. Further Improvements include an anti-bridging mechanism that is articulated from the exterior of the chamber to fluff, mix or stir the powder within the chamber to keep it in a liquefied state. The improvements further include a wall mounting bracket that reduces tampering with the extinguisher, an automatic fluffing motor and manual fluffing wheel with a chuck for use with a drill. These features extend the service intervals while maintaining the fire extinguisher in a ready condition. The fire extinguisher is construction of components that are interchangeable and provide equal operation for left and right handed people.

    摘要: The discharge apparatus is used in conjunction with a fire suppression system and includes a plurality of gas cartridges communicating with one or more fire extinguishing tanks. The discharge apparatus includes a first cylinder-piston device which upon activation punctures a diaphragm of a gas cartridge. Gas released from the first gas cartridge pressurizes a related fire extinguishing tanks to cause extinguishing chemicals to be discharged. A small portion of the gas released from the first gas cartridge is responsible for the activation of a second cylinder-piston device associated with a second gas cartridge to cause the release of gas. The gas released from the second gas cartridge pressurizes a related fire extinguishing tank to cause extinguishing chemical to be discharged.

    摘要: A fire extinguisher includes a barrel having a chamber with an opening covered by an upper cover that includes a guide-out passage having a tubular portion with a guide-in groove and an inlet. A guide-out groove is defined above a sealing edge and extends to the outside. A gas inlet unit is mounted to the upper cover and is connected to a high pressure steel bottle. A high pressure gas in the high pressure steel bottle can flow through a gas inlet passage into the chamber. A guide-out unit includes a guiding tube unit connected to the tubular portion and a valve connected to the guiding tube unit. The valve is opened when subjected to a pressure from the high pressure steel bottle. A piston valve normally and sealingly abutting a sealing edge of the tubular portion can be moved to a position in sealing contact with the sealing edge.
