    摘要: A fire protection device including a frame having a body with an inlet and an outlet disposed spaced along a longitudinal axis of a passageway. A pair of arms is disposed in a first plane parallel to the longitudinal axis and coupled to the body. A deflector assembly having a generally planar face portion is distally spaced from the outlet of the body and orthogonal to the longitudinal axis. The face portion includes two openings on opposite sides of a second plane perpendicular to the first plane. A canopy portion is supported on a first side of the first plane from the face portion. The deflector assembly includes a plurality of tines extending along the face portion on a second side of the first plane. Each of the tines have an outer edge disposed on a common circle centered along the longitudinal axis.

    摘要: The invention relates to equipment including fixed fire detectors (10) along the track (100) and fixed extinguishing stations (20) installed in the tunnel. Each station is provided with fire detectors (23) for locating the source, an automatic configuration system for targeting the area to be sprayed, individually controlled spraying devices (22), and a device for remotely or locally activating the spray. The station is preceded by a train stopping area (ZA) in which the train (TRO) starts a stopping sequence and slows down from the safety speed thereof to the zero speed thereof. A control center (30) manages the operation of the equipment and in particular orders a reduction of the train (TRO) running speed when the detectors (10) have detected a fire (flames, smoke, CO), The reduced speed (safety speed (Vs)) enables the train (TRO) to run as quickly as possible while mitigating the progression of the fire.

The vehicle carries also a telescopically extensible hose that can be connected to the monorail in case of fire to draw water off. This hose is able to direct the waterjet to the positions of the fire centres located by a suitable camera.

    摘要: Method for extinguishing a fire in a space, especially in a tunnel or equivalent, in which method an extinguishing medium is sprayed in the space by means of spraying heads. In a first stage of the method, the flow and temperature of the hot gases produced by the fire are influenced by spraying an extinguishing medium into the space, especially by creating in the space at least one curtain (7) of extinguishing medium, and at least some spraying heads (11, 12) in the space are pre-activated into a state of readiness, and in a second stage at least one spraying head is activated to produce a spray of extinguishing medium.     摘要: Hyperbaric Hypoxic Fire Escape and Suppression System is provided for multilevel buildings, transportation tunnels and other human-occupied environments. The system produces and maintains a hypoxic hyperbaric environment in a separate part of a building (staircase shaft) or a tunnel (service tunnel) in order to provide an entirely secure escape area in case of a fire emergency and instantly extinguish an ongoing fire in a building or a tunnel by releasing a breathable hyperbaric hypoxic fire-extinguishing composition into location affected by fire. Additionally, the system provides continuing adequate protection against biological and chemical warfare and contaminants by filtering ambient air before processing it by the system and by establishing breathable fire-suppressive atmosphere at a positive atmospheric pressure inside a building or tunnel.

    摘要: Fire prevention and suppression systems and breathable fire-extinguishing compositions are provided for rooms, houses and buildings, transportation tunnels and vehicles, underground and underwater facilities, marine vessels, submarines, passenger and military aircraft, space stations and vehicles, military installations and vehicles, and all other human occupied objects and facilities. The system provides a breathable hypoxic fire-preventative atmosphere at standard atmospheric or local ambient pressure. The system employs an oxygen-extraction apparatus supplying oxygen-depleted air inside a human-occupied area or storing it in a high-pressure container for use in case of fire. A breathable fire-extinguishing composition is introduced for constant fire-preventive environments, being mostly a mixture of nitrogen and oxygen and having oxygen content ranging from 12% to 17%. A fire-suppression system is provided employing a fire-extinguishing composition with oxygen concentration under 16%, so when released it creates a breathable fire-suppressive atmosphere having oxygen concentration of approximately 16% (or lower if needed) with possible addition of carbon dioxide. A technology for automatically maintaining a breathable fire-preventive composition on board a human-occupied hermetic object is provided by introducing inert ballast that automatically maintains oxygen content under the Hypoxic Threshold. An aircraft fire prevention and suppression systems are provided utilizing hypoxic fire extinguishing compositions for producing breathable atmosphere onboard having fire-retarding properties.
