摘要： A vehicle has a rotation-symmetrical, particularly spherical housing which is disposed about a rotational axis and has a convex drive and running surface. The housing is composed at least partially of transparent material, and has at least one door for at least one person to enter and exit. In the interior of the housing there is a seat for the at least one person, a drive for rotating the housing, and a device for control purposes. Bearings are provided in the rotational axis of the housing for rotatably mounting a lower seat structure receiving the seat. The drive is disposed on the lower seat structure and connected thereto. In order to improve the handling characteristics of such a vehicle, the seat is disposed displaceably laterally with respect to the lower seat structure.

摘要： A water ride for transporting ride participants between portions of a water attraction disposed at different heights, for example, pools situated at various levels in a water leisure park, includes an outer support tube within which a hollow spiral coil (screw) is constructed internally of the tube and securable to the tube. Advantageously, the manner of securement permits removal of at least a portion of the spiral coil as necessary or desirable for performing maintenance and/or replacement. The spiral coil sufficiently engages the inside of the tube, thereby creating at least a restriction to the passage of water between adjacent pockets contained between the thread pitch defined by the spiral coil. Ride participants are moved along with water pockets trapped between the pitch of the internal profile presented by the combination of spiral coil and tube from one end of the tube/spiral coil combination to the other end by rotation of the tube in an appropriate direction.

摘要： A vehicle, especially an amusement vehicle, in which a frame having a seat adapted for seating two occupants is located within the radial confines of a pair of relatively large coaxial spaced wheels. The frame includes rollers mounted thereon and distributed circumferentially about the inwardly facing annular surfaces of the larger wheels and engaging the same so as to rotatably support the frame within the wheels. A pair of relatively large chains are mounted circumferentially on the respective wheels within the radial confines thereof concentrically with the common axis of the wheels and are driven by crank driven sprockets carried by the frame to thereby propel the vehicle. The center of gravity of the frame, including any occupant therein, is below the common axis of the wheels so that when the sprockets are driven, the frame will first move within the wheels to create an unbalanced condition in the vehicle and the wheels will then commence rotation thereby causing the vehicle to move. The wheels can be driven at respective speeds in order to steer the vehicle.

摘要： According to various embodiments a recreational apparatus can include an outer raceway having a ground engaging portion. An inner race assembly can be rotatably engaged to and operable to rotate within the outer raceway. A footrest can be disposed on the inner race assembly.
