摘要： The present invention relates to a method for operating a ride (1) on a terrain (10) having at least one vehicle (20), the at least one vehicle (20) having a drive device (22), at least one passenger receptacle (21) for at least one passenger (5), and a store (24) that can be filled with projectiles (15), the method being characterized in that the at least one vehicle (20) is moved on the terrain by means of the relevant drive device (22) and in that at least one projectile (15) can be removed from the store (24) can be fired at the instigation of the at least one passenger (5). The local server controls and communicates with game or entertainment elements at the venue. The game or entertainment elements may be games at the location, input devices used by participants, such as smart phones, and/or audio and video devices. The cloud server controls and communicates with off-site elements. The cloud server and local server may communicate and synchronize data over the internet. The entertainment venue consequently can provide varying and evolving experiences through gamification.

摘要： Drifting karts in accordance with embodiments of the invention are described that include a front wheel drive train and rear caster wheels that can be dynamically engaged to induce and control drift during a turn. One embodiment of the invention includes a chassis to which a steering column is mounted, where the steering column includes at least one front steerable wheel configured to be driven by an electric motor, a battery housing mounted to the chassis, where the battery housing contains a controller and at least one battery, wiring configured to provide power from the at least one battery to the electric motor, two caster wheels mounted to the chassis, where each caster wheel is configured to rotate around a rotational axis and swivel around a swivel axis, and a hand lever configured to dynamically engage the caster wheels to induce and control drift during a turn.

摘要： Sets of magnet assemblies coupled to the undercarriage of an amusement kart are provided. Each of the magnet assemblies can include: a suspension component coupled to the undercarriage; magnetic material coupled to the suspension component; and a rotating component coupled to the suspension component. Other sets of magnet assemblies can include a skid component coupled to the suspension component. Amusement park attractions are provided that can include: an amusement kart having one or more magnet assemblies coupled to an undercarriage of the amusement kart; and a track comprising iron plating sufficient to magnetically engage the one or more magnet assemblies. Amusement karts are also provided that can include: a frame supported by front and rear wheels; and complimentary side rails extending along both sides of the frame and between the front and rear wheels.

Specifically, there is provided and autonomous all-terrain amusement ride vehicle and control system therefore which is configured to use real terrain to create guest sensations. Whether indoors or outdoors, real terrain such as hills, bridges, bumpy roads, and stairs can be used to create sensations that have sustained gravitational forces (G-forces) wherein these G-forces are at least in part based on the terrain. By providing autonomous features and an overall fleet control system, guests can experience a safe operator-initiated ride but with a feeling of being in an unconstrained environment.
