摘要: The present invention relates to a method for treating green liquor in a green liquor treatment arrangement, wherein the method comprises—adding (101) a flocculation agent to green liquor to form flocculated green liquor,—supplying (102) the flocculated green liquor to a clarifying vessel for separating flocculated green liquor into flocculated matter and clear green liquor,—removing (103) flocculated matter through a sludge outlet, and—removing (104) clear green liquor from the clarifying vessel, wherein the method further comprises—measuring (201) a flocculation of the green liquor, wherein said measuring takes place after adding the flocculation agent but before supplying the flocculated green liquor to the clarifying vessel. The invention also relates to a green liquor treatment device.

摘要: An apparatus and method for treatment of food process waste water, comprising a tank for receiving a food process waste water influent via an influent pump and discharging a treated food process waste water effluent via an effluent pump; a floating decanter disposed in the tank and operationally connected to the effluent pump; a valved outlet formed in the bottom of the tank; an upper level float switch operationally connected to the floating decanter and to the effluent pump; a lower level float switch operationally connected to the floating decanter and to the effluent pump; and a timer operationally connected to the floating decanter and the effluent pump. pH, BOD, and TSS may be adjusted. Solids are settled from the waste water and drawn off through the tank bottom after a supernatant is drawn off through the floating decanter.

摘要: A fluid clarification system and method is described in which fluid is passed through one or more settling compartments, each having a solids outlet at the base of the compartment. The base of each compartment includes inclined surfaces for guiding settled solids to the outlet. Also described is a polymer reaction trough including baffles to promote gentle mixing of inflow fluid with flocculant. The system is designed to reduce costs of transportation, flocculent, and solids handling. The system is preferably arranged to facilitate transport on a skid or trailer, while maximizing fluid handling capabilities and minimizing costs.

摘要: A coagulation-sedimentation apparatus is designed to enable the apparatus to treat water at a higher rate. The coagulation-sedimentation apparatus includes a separation tank body 60 divided into an upper chamber 61 and a lower chamber 62 by a partition member 64. The tank body has a raw water inlet pipe 66 that introduces raw water into the upper chamber, and a water distributing passage that introduces a part of the water from the upper chamber to the lower chamber. The upper chamber has a first treated water outlet 76, and the lower chamber has a second treated water outlet 78. The flow velocity of upward flow of the water toward the first treated water outlet 76 in the upper chamber and the flow velocity of upward flow of the water toward the second treated water outlet 78 in the lower chamber can be controlled so that flocs in the upward flows can settle.

摘要: An apparatus for separating solid particles from the suction effluent of, for example, a dental office, preferably driven by a dental office vacuum pump, includes a surge tank for accommodating effluent overfill connected to a sedimentary deposit tank for sedimentation of effluent particles. A bypass conduit is connected to the surge tank inlet which is equipped with a vacuum break valve for allowing air into the system when the suction openings are closed. The sedimentary deposit tank has a series of baffle chambers through which effluent flows in sequence, and in each of which chambers sediment is deposited for later removal. The surge tank preferably has a liquid level sensor and warning device. Modular filters or adsorbants may be installed in the sedimentary deposit tank, or a modular auxiliary filter may be connected downstream of the tank. Chemical injection may be used to improve sedimentation. A positive air pressure source or auxiliary pumps may be used to drive the effluent, particularly in large installations incorporating multiple surge and deposit tanks. Full tank effluent removal and drying facilities are optionally provided.
