    摘要: The present invention comprises a gravity draining automatic FOG interceptor with solids removal capability used as a first stage in the treatment of gray water. A preferred embodiment comprises a multi compartment container, the compartments separated by baffles, having a serviceable solids strainer in a first compartment, a second compartment having a cogged belt for FOG removal and collection, a third compartment for collection of clarified effluent, and a fourth compartment for tertiary treatment of the gray water effluent, for example, the introduction of biotechnology. The unique baffle configuration prevents biotechnology backflow migration from the fourth compartment with resulting bacterial contamination of the FOG.

    摘要: It is desired to remove matter on a fluid surface of a tank. The tank defines a circular tank orifice comprising a tank orifice rim, the tank orifice rim containing a fluid surface of a fluid, the fluid overflowing the tank orifice rim to form a fluid overflow, the fluid surface defining a fluid surface center. The matter is removed by discharging from near the tank orifice rim a plurality (n) of jets of the fluid towards the fluid surface center. Any matter on the fluid surface is thereby urged toward the tank orifice rim and eventually removed from the fluid surface by the fluid overflow. In one application, the tank comprises a dip tank and the fluid comprises photoreceptor coating solution or components thereof such as solvents, additives, or both.

    摘要: A particle separator apparatus includes a pond and a separation vault, which receive a runoff stream. The vault includes an entrance for the runoff stream, the entrance having a primary skimmer thereabout for removing floating objects from the stream. A holding chamber is provided for catching and holding particulate matter as the particulate matter drops out of the runoff stream. The holding chamber includes a plate module, having plural corrugated plates spaced apart from one another therein, for providing the aerobic and anaerobic treatment to stabilize the runoff stream. A final skimmer is located at the rear of the vault, and includes a final skimmer plate which directs floating objects to a floating hose, which removes any remaining floating objects from the runoff stream.
