摘要： A coolant processing apparatus removes sludge from a coolant discharged from a machine tool. The coolant processing apparatus includes a first reservoir and a second reservoir provided in a tank for retaining the coolant. The first reservoir includes a flow path in which the discharged coolant flows, and a portion downstream of the flow path to retain the coolant such that the sludge remains in the first reservoir. The flow path has at least one bend to bend a flow of the coolant at least once in a horizontal direction. The second reservoir retains the coolant flowing out from the first reservoir. A boundary wall is provided between the first and second reservoirs, at a location downstream of the at least one bend of the flow path, and has such a height that allows a supernatant of the coolant in the first reservoir to flow into the second reservoir.

摘要： A method and system are provided for clarifying water by passing water through one or more reactor canisters having a flow-through cartridge containing a composition for flocculating or settling solids suspended in the water. After passing through the reactor canisters, the water flows into a primary settling tank to allow solids to precipitate therefrom. The water then flows over a weir into a secondary settling tank to allow further precipitation of suspended solids remaining in the water. The water can then pass through tubular settling media to aid in further precipitation of solids therefrom, and then flow into an outlet chamber where the now clarified water can be withdrawn.

Multiple drain ports communicate with the tank interior at different elevations relative to the floor for draining accumulated contents of varying density that have gravitationally separated into distinct layers at those elevations. The ports feature adjustable fittings for adjusting the levels from which the layered contents are drawn through the ports from the tank interior. The tank has a large cleanout access by which personnel can access the tank interior for thorough cleanout. The compartments are organized into one or more troughs, each having a pivotal lid thereon. Lift brackets under the floor enable lifted transport of the tank by pallet jack or forklift.

A first flow transmitter coupled to the first level transmitter is configured to measure a specific volume of material transferred out of the first suspended solids settling tank. A first pump is coupled to the first flow meter and configured to transfer a flush water that includes suspended solids and inorganics. A vibrating screen is coupled to the first pump. A process tank is coupled to the submersible pump. A sedimentation removal system and a removal device coupled to the sedimentation removal system are provided and configured to remove inorganizes out of a suspension.
