摘要: There is provided a particle classification system comprising: a classifier including: a vat defining an interior cavity, a feeder conduit upstream of the interior cavity, an overflow conduit in fluid communication between a top of the interior cavity and outside the vat, an underflow conduit downstream of the interior cavity and a controllable underflow valve fluidly connected to a bottom of the interior cavity, the underflow valve controlled to be either in an open configuration in which the interior cavity is in fluid communication with the underflow conduit or in a closed configuration in which the interior cavity is sealed from the underflow conduit; a feed preparation circuit upstream of the feeder conduit; a rejection circuit downstream of the overflow conduit, and a beneficiation circuit downstream of the underflow conduit. There is also provided a method of classifying fluid-borne particles comprising obtaining a feed containing high-density particles.

More specifically, the device is an outlet filter cleaner for a slotted filter used to reduce solid waste transfer into a septic tank effluent. The device comprises a central shaft with at least one cleaning disc, wherein the cleaning disc comprises a body which is mounted on the shaft and wherein a plurality of fingers protrude from the body, preferably in locations substantially identical to the positions of the openings in the wall of the tube.

摘要: A system and method are provided for producing from a first fluid having particles of a substance suspended or dissolved therein with a first concentration of the substance, a second fluid having a second concentration of the substance lower than the first concentration and a separated-fluid product, in which concentration of the substance is greater than that in the first fluid. The system comprises a pre-treatment module for processing the first fluid to produce aggregates from the substance and at least one separation duct in fluid communication with an outlet of the pre-treatment module, the duct having at least one bay portion having such design as to cause aggregates to accumulate along a pre-determined wall of the bay portion, thereby facilitating separation between the second fluid and the separated-fluid product.

摘要: A screening system for solid removal includes a housing and a screen positioned within the housing. A flow inlet is operatively connected to an interior chamber defined by the screen. A sump is downstream from the flow inlet for capturing solids that do not pass through the screen. A flow outlet is downstream from the screen in fluid communication with the flow inlet. A moveable cleaning assembly may be positioned either within a perimeter of the screen, around the perimeter of the screen or both. The moveable cleaning assembly is moveable with respect to the screen.

摘要: Methods and systems for producing lithium hydroxide and lithium carbonate are described. One or more embodiments involve reacting potassium hydroxide with lithium chloride or lithium nitrate to create a reciprocal salt system, and precipitation to form lithium hydroxide and potassium chloride crystals, potassium nitrate crystals, or any combination thereof. In certain embodiments, lithium chloride feedstock, nitrate feedstock, or mixture thereof, is obtained by reacting lithium sulfate with calcium chloride, calcium nitrate, or combination thereof. Additional embodiments include producing lithium carbonate, including, but not limited to, by reacting lithium hydroxide with carbon dioxide.

摘要: A sediment capture syphon apparatus for capturing sediment from a borrow site is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a containment basin having a containment basin pump valve and a vacuum tank vacuum valve configured to pump water to a vacuum tank. The vacuum tank is connected to an anti-static pressure tank and a backwash tank via one or more valves and conduits. The containment basin is further connected to a separator tank configured to pull the sediment deposits from a submerged filter. A filter assembly is configured to deposit the sediment in the deposited location. The apparatus further includes a buoyancy lift configured to exert a buoyancy lift float mechanism to float deposit and a waterfall tank to receive water flow from the filter assembly by creating pressure. The apparatus is further connected to an electrical power source to power a battery comprising one or more switches via a wire.
