摘要: Debris filters fit in fuel assembly lower tie plates and filter fluids passing therethrough. Filters use a series of adjacent plates with aligned peaks and valleys to create several channels. The plates have small excisions in diamond, triangle, or other debris-catching shapes, such as near a lower portion of the filter where fluid enters the filter. Excisions may alternate around each channel, such as four alternating cut-outs in 90-degree intervals about a channel circumference. Excisions may be sized to entrap smaller debris common in reactor coolant flow and liable for fretting damage to fuel cladding. Multiple vertical stages can be used in filters, with different channels for each stage. Ligaments may hold each stage to the next, potentially with a gap between stages for intermixing. Plates, peaks, valleys, ligaments, and excisions may all be formed in a single stamping operation to eliminate excess or overlapping pieces or extensions.

The exhaust gas purification filter includes partition walls including a plurality of pores, a plurality of cells partitioned by the partition walls, and sealing portions alternately sealing ends of a plurality of the cells in the exhaust gas purification filter. The partition walls each have an average pore diameter of more than 16 μm and less than 21 μm, and have a ratio of an average surface opening diameter of the pores in a partition wall surface to the average pore diameter of the partition wall of 0.66 or more and 0.94 or less.

The honeycomb body has a central first flow channel running in the axial direction of the honeycomb body, as an inflow section, and has a plurality of second flow channels between in each case two mutually adjacent metal foils. The first flow channel is in fluid communication with the second flow channels. The second flow channels formed between two mutually adjacent metal foils run in a straight line and parallel to one another along a radial direction of the honeycomb body.

摘要: A honeycomb filter includes a honeycomb structure body that has porous partition walls disposed so as to surround cells, and plugging portions that are disposed at any one of the ends on the inflow end face and the ends on the outflow end face. A cross-sectional shape of each of the inflow cells is octagonal and a cross-sectional shape of each of the outflow cells is quadrangular. An area ratio (S1/S2) of a cross-sectional area S2 of each of the outflow cells to a cross-sectional area S1 of each of the inflow cells is 1.40 to 2.20. The plugging portions have convex portions that protrude from the end faces on which the plugging portions are disposed, toward the outer sides, and have a protruding height H of 0.3 to 3.0 mm, and the plugging portions have a plugging depth L of 4.0 to 9.0 mm.

摘要: A particulate trap filter body has asymmetrical channels. The cross-sectional shape of the asymmetrical channel structure includes a combination of hexagonal, square and triangular shapes. The hexagonal channel and the triangular channel act as inlet channel, and the square channel acts as outlet channel. Compared with the traditional symmetrical filter body structure, the inlet channel volume and filter body wall area can be effectively increased by more than 30%, which means that with capturing the same amount of particles, the particle cake layer formed on the wall surface is thinner. The limiting carbon load of the new channel structure is increased by more than 30%, having a very positive effect on reducing the regeneration frequency and prolonging the service life of the trap.
