摘要: Provided is an exhaust purifying filter having high catalyst purification performance and particulate matter capturing performance while reducing pressure loss. A GPF includes a filter substrate in which a plurality of cells extending from an inflow-side end surface to an outflow-side end surface are partitioned and formed by a porous partition wall and an inflow-side cell in which an opening in the outflow-side end surface is sealed and an outflow-side cell in which an opening in the inflow-side end surface is sealed are alternately disposed; and a TWC which is carried on the partition wall, wherein a difference between a total volume of pores having pore diameters within a range of 0.1 μm to 10.7 μm in pore distribution of the GPF and a total volume of pores having pore diameters within a range of 0.1 μm to 10.7 μm in pore distribution of the filter substrate is 0.015 ml/g˜0.06 ml/g.

摘要: A honeycomb structure prevents catalyst slurry from leaching out when applying a wash coat for making a catalyst supported, ensuring air permeability of the outer portion and in which there is no occurrence of cracking when used as a gasoline particulate filter. The honeycomb structure having: a honeycomb substrate composed of porous partition walls forming a plurality of cells and a porous outer portion; and a resin composition on the outer portion of the honeycomb substrate, wherein the outer portion and the partition walls of the honeycomb substrate are formed of the same material; a porosity of the honeycomb structure is 50% or more; and the resin composition is impregnated into pores of the whole outer portion; and the impregnation depth is equal to the outer portion thickness or a part of the resin composition is impregnated deeper than the outer portion and reaches the cell partition walls.

摘要: An exhaust purifying device provided in an exhaust passage of an internal combustion engine comprises: a column-shaped honeycomb carrier; a cylindrical case member adapted to house the honeycomb carrier; a holding member provided between the honeycomb carrier and the case member to surround the outer circumference of the honeycomb carrier; buffer members provided on a peripheral edge of the edge surface of at least one side of an inflow side edge surface and an outflow side edge surface of the honeycomb carrier so as to regulate the movement of the honeycomb carrier in the central axis X direction; and setting members secured to the case member to regulate the movement of the buffer members by allowing their position regulation parts to contact the buffer members; wherein the buffer members are provided, on the outer circumferential sides, with recesses into which the position regulation parts of the setting members are fitted.

摘要: An exhaust purification system includes an LAF sensor provided in an exhaust pipe and generates a signal corresponding to an air-fuel ratio of exhaust gas. An upstream catalytic converter is downstream of the LAF sensor and has a catalyst to purify the exhaust gas. An O2 sensor is downstream of the upstream catalytic converter, and generates a signal corresponding to the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gas. A GPF is downstream of a the O2 sensor and purifies the exhaust gas. An ECU controls an air-fuel mixture in an engine using output signal KACT of the LAF sensor and an output signal VO2 of the O2 sensor such that the air-fuel ratio of exhaust gas flowing into the GPF converges to a target value near the stoichiometric ratio. The GPF has a filter substrate and a downstream TWC supported by a partition of the filter substrate.

Furthermore, a column is proposed which comprises includes a housing that has at least one inlet, at least one outlet and one or more packings according to the invention which are preferably arranged in a flow path running from the inlet to the outlet, in succession if applicable.

摘要: A honeycomb structure including: a honeycomb structure body having porous partition walls which are disposed to surround a plurality of cells and a circumferential wall, wherein the partition walls are provided with protrusions, at least one of the plurality of cells includes a specific cell configured so that the protrusions protrude into the cell from the respective partition walls, and the specific cell is provided with a porous material made of the same material as the partition walls in a range of 5 to 50% including an intersection with respect to a pentagonal area which is formed by connecting the intersection when two partition walls configuring the peripheral edge of the specific cell extend and two points of bottom parts and top parts, respectively, of the respective protrusions disposed on the two partition walls, in the cross section orthogonal to the extending direction of the cells.

摘要: A manufacturing method of a plugged honeycomb structure including a plugging material preparing step of mixing a ceramic raw material, a pore former, a thickener, an organic binder, a dispersing agent, and water and preparing the plugging material which is slurried, to form the plugging portions, wherein the plugging material preparing step includes: a powder mixing step of mixing the ceramic raw material, the pore former, the organic binder and the dispersing agent each of which is constituted of powder, at predetermined blend ratios, a thickener mixing step of adding and mixing the thickener to a powder mixture obtained by the powder mixing step, and a kneading step of adding the water to a thickener added mixture obtained by the thickener mixing step, to perform kneading.

摘要: A honeycomb filter includes a plurality of honeycomb fired bodies. Each of the plurality of honeycomb fired bodies includes an outer wall, a plurality of cells, and porous cell walls. The plurality of cells include exhaust gas introduction cells each having an open end at an exhaust gas inlet side and a plugged end at an exhaust gas outlet side and exhaust gas emission cells each having an open end at the exhaust gas outlet side and a plugged end at the exhaust gas inlet side. Sub-cells adjacent to the outer wall include exhaust gas introduction sub-cells among the exhaust gas introduction cells and exhaust gas emission sub-cells among the exhaust gas emission cells. A total volume of the exhaust gas emission sub-cells adjacent to the outer wall is greater than a total volume of the exhaust gas introduction sub-cells adjacent to the outer wall.
