    摘要: A collapsible pump chamber is provided which includes several functional elements of a pump device. For example, the collapsible pump chamber may be a bellows which includes a functional element of an outlet valve, a functional element of a biasing feature, and a functional element of a spin chamber. Consequently, a functional element of all of the downstream functions are incorporated into the bellows. This can significantly reduce costs due to reduced tooling and assembly, for example. In contrast, there are no upstream components incorporated into the bellows which enables the upstream or inlet end of the bellows to be wide open. This wide open upstream end of the bellows makes molding easier.

    摘要: A non-clog actuator assembly having a flexible face member that flexes away from first and second positive shutoff mating surfaces when product under pressure flows into contact with the flexible face member. The flexible face member then resiliently springs back into abutting, sealing contact with these shutoff mating surfaces. Preferably, the device flexes away from the two shutoff mating surfaces at a predetermined minimum pressure, such as 55 psig, and then flexes back into sealing contact when the product pressure drops below this minimum pressure, thereby controlling the dispensing of the product with a positive shut off (i.e., the product is dispensed in a fairly constant pattern and then shut off rather than being very strong at the beginning of the spraying process and then dribbling out at the end or under low pressure operations).

    摘要: A trigger operated dispensing device for the discharge of fluids, particularly in a spray. The device comprises a housing including a trigger, which actuates a flexible pump. The flexible pump has an inlet accepting the fluid and an outlet end through which the fluid passes going to the discharge. The flexible pump, preferably of bellows type, is situated in line with and just adjacent to the discharge wherein rotational motion of the trigger results in rotational compression of the pump chamber. In a particularly preferred embodiment, the flexible pump further includes mechanical structure for imparting a radial momentum to the fluid prior to discharge.

    摘要: A two-piece nozzle, for fitment to hand actuated liquid pumps having a barrel portion and a bore therethrough for passage of liquid, is disclosed. The nozzle has an integrally formed nozzle cap which is mounted to the end portion of the barrel. Enclosed within the nozzle cap is an integrally formed sealing structure which is attached to the barrel of the pump. The sealing device provides a peripheral liquid-tight seal around the barrel between the nozzle cap and the barrel. It also provides a check valve which is movably positioned at the mouth of the bore to provide a liquid-tight bore seal. The check valve is biased to provide the liquid-tight bore seal which bias can be overcome by liquid pressure in the bore developed upon actuation of the pump.
