Abstract:
Provided is a control method of a coating device that can perform coating of coating targets well. The control method of a coating device includes a coating tank (25) which includes a drum (28A) having a cylindrical shape and rotatable, and a disk (38A) having a dish shape and disposed to close a lower end of the drum (28A) and rotatable coaxially with the drum (28A). The method executes a first rotation process of setting a posture of the coating tank (25) in a standing posture in which a rotation axis of the coating tank (25) is directed in a vertical direction, rotating the drum (28A) in one direction, and rotating the disk (38A) in the other direction, and a second rotation process of setting a posture of the coating tank (25) in an inclined posture in which the rotation axis is inclined with respect to the vertical direction and rotating the drum (28A) and the disk (38A) in the one direction.
Abstract:
A mixing apparatus is configured to efficiently input noodles coated with an additive to a receiving tray, with no need to perform weighing again after the noodles are input to the receiving tray. The mixing apparatus includes at least two hoppers that each house falling noodles and that allows the noodles to fall through rotation of the hoppers. A supply device supplies a sauce to the noodles in the hoppers, and the two hoppers are spaced from one another in the falling direction.
Abstract:
An installation for treating mass-produced parts includes: a supporting structure with a supporting element, a basket carrier for at least two centrifuge baskets, a main drive device attached to the supporting structure and having a main drive and a longitudinal shaft, the longitudinal shaft being mounted rotatably about a main axis relative to the supporting element and being drivable rotatably about the main axis by the main drive, wherein the basket carrier is held suspended at the longitudinal shaft and is connected to the longitudinal shaft in a rotationally fixed manner, and a secondary drive device having at least one motor and, for each centrifuge basket, a drivetrain for rotating the centrifuge basket about a basket axis radially spaced from the main axis, wherein the at least one motor of the secondary drive device is arranged on the basket carrier.
Abstract:
Automated cell staining systems and methods are disclosed herein. In particular, the staining systems disclosed herein provide low-volume, automated bench top staining systems for staining biological samples contained on a cytological slide.
Abstract:
An apparatus including an air blower; a rotary airlock; a receptacle having an inner chamber supplied with a plurality of colorant particles; a water supply; and a mixing chamber. The air blower blows air into a bottom section of the rotary airlock, and the rotary airlock receives colorant particles from an output of the receptacle. A rotor shaft of the rotary airlock rotates to cause colorant particles to be transported to the bottom section of the rotary airlock. Air blown into the bottom section of the rotary airlock mixes with colorant particles transported into the bottom section of the rotary airlock to form an air and colorant particles mixture, which is blown out of a first output of the rotary airlock and combined with water to form a water, air, and colorant particles mixture, which is mixed with material in a mixing chamber. The material may be natural mulch.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for coating and mixing granular products, in particular food products, more in particular peanuts, the device comprising a compartment defined by a rotary bottom part and a stationary circumferential side wall, the device further comprising: a product supply for supplying the products into the compartment, a substance supply for supplying a substance into the compartment, a drive for rotating the rotary bottom part about its substantially vertical axis, wherein the rotary bottom part and the stationary circumferential side wall comprise non-stick parts which define a substantial part of an inner surface of the compartment and which are manufactured from a non-stick material, wherein said non-stick parts are mechanically connected to the device via detachable connectors, allowing fast replacement of worn-out non-stick parts by new, same non-stick parts.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for manufacturing hot-mix coated materials, e.g. materials coated with bitumen, the device comprising: an oven (1) comprising an enclosure (2) provided towards its two opposite ends with a main inlet (3) designed to receive granular materials and with a main outlet; and heater means (10) defining a combustion section (5) inside the enclosure (2), said enclosure (2) starting with said combustion section (5) and continuing with a drying section (6), and then with a mixing section (7); the device being characterized in that it is provided with a bypass outlet (11) and with an external mixer (12) that is connected to said bypass outlet (11), which outlet is fitted with a blocking system (15) allowing granular materials to pass towards the inlet (13) of the external mixer (12) and a closed position allowing granular materials to pass towards the mixing section (7).
Abstract:
The invention is directed to apparatus and methods for contacting gas and solids in the manufacture of edibles, and particularly in connection with coating edible particulate solids. A drum is positioned around an inner tube so that an annular space is defined between the drum and the tube. A rotatable spiral element defines a gas pathway in the annular space, such that rotation of the spiral pushes particulate solids through the drum while the solids are contacted with gas in the annular space.
Abstract:
A process and system for continuous flow-through dip-coating of a workpiece requires the introduction of the workpiece in a porous coating basket at a first side of a coating chamber and the removal of the coated workpiece in the coating basket from a second side of the coating compartment different from the first side. This enables the commingling of coated and uncoated workpieces to be avoided and allows for a higher throughput in the coating process.
