    摘要: A multi-diameter tubular body is cold-forged by forming a large-diameter hole portion in a formed body having a preliminary hole through subjection of the preliminary hole to deep hole forming and by punching out the bottom surface of the large-diameter hole portion to thereby form a small-diameter hole portion. Since a punch having a central protrusion on its forward end surface is used, an internal flaw is generated by dead metal in the inner circumferential surface of a depression, formed by the protrusion, in the bottom surface of the large-diameter hole portion. An outside diameter of a protrusion of a deep hole forming punch is rendered smaller than an inside diameter of the small-diameter hole portion to be formed later by punching out the bottom surface of the large-diameter hole portion. As a result, the internal flaw is removed when the small-diameter hole portion is formed.

A cross-sectional area of the stamp-extruding head portion perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the closed female die is smaller than that of the extruding shaft portion perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the closed female die. The male die is configured to rotate about the longitudinal axis of the closed female die so that the blank is sequentially and zonally deformed by the stamp-extruding head portion inside the closed cavity of the closed female die.

    摘要: A hole 30 is formed in the center of the rear end face 20 of a round billet 10. The hole 30 has a predetermined depth from the rear end face 20 and a plurality of grooves 31 are provided in the side surface thereof. Each groove 31 extends in the depth direction of the hole 30. Piercing and rolling of the round billet 10 having the hole 30 is performed using a piercing mill having a plug. During piercing and rolling, the bottom surface of the hole 30 is broken through by the plug and a protrusion which is to be the starting point of burrs is formed, and the protrusion is absorbed by the groove 31 as the plug advances. Consequently, formation of burrs at the rear end of a hollow shell after piercing-rolling thereof can be suppressed.
