    摘要: A tool or workpiece has a mounting collar open axially outward, formed with a radially inwardly directed angled flank, and having a radial outer surface of noncircular cross-sectional shape. A chuck has a body formed with an axially forwardly open socket shaped to receive the collar with the axes generally coaxial and having an inner surface of a noncircular cross-sectional shape substantially complementary to the shape of the collar outer surface. A plurality of jaws axially fixed in the socket have radially movable ends engageable inside the collar and each formed with a radially inwardly and axially outwardly directed face. A cam having a face centered on the axis is engageable with the jaw front ends such that axial rearward shifting of the cam presses the jaw front ends outward and thereby presses the jaw faces against the collar flank to lock the collar in the socket.

    摘要: A rotary tool for chip removing machining, for example a milling cutter or a drill, includes a shaft, a holder, and a cutting part. The shaft has a conical seating arranged in its front end. The holder has a slightly conical recess, whose cross-sectional dimension decreases toward the open end of the recess. The cutting part has a slightly conical pin designed to be received in the recess and has a cross-sectional dimension which increases in the direction of the free end of the pin. The recess is formed by a wall which is elastically flexible in a radial direction. When the holder is drawn axially into the seating, the wall is flexed radially inwardly, causing the conical surface of the recess to tightly grip the conical surface of the pin and create an interference fit of the pin in the recess.

    摘要: A mechanical chuck for clamping the shank of a tool comprises a receiver having a forwardly open, rearwardly tapering socket. A pull rod is mounted for front-to-rear reciprocation in the socket. The pull rod is connectible to the tool shank. A plurality of pins are mounted in the receiver for front-to-rear movement therein. Rear ends of the pins engage the pull rod. A nut is threaded on the outside of the socket so that when rotated, the nut displaces the pins rearwardly. The pins displace the pull rod and shank rearwardly, so that the shank is tightly engaged in the socket.

    摘要: A tool mounting between a cutting tool, for example a drill, and a machine spindle, comprising a tool element and a tightening device. The tool element consists of a body and an expandable attachment tap. The attachment tap is formed with grooves to receive a gripping implement of a tool interchanging mechanism and with a through opening to receive an end portion of a pull rod. The tightening device comprises a pull rod movably mounted in an inner pipe and forwardly projecting resilient portions. During changing to an other tool the opening at the attachment tap (13) is moved over the end portion by means of the gripping implement while a wall of the opening of the attachment tap slip against the resilient portions until a stop pin on the tool shank engages the end surface of the end portion and the resilient portions snap into recesses in the hole wall. The gripping implement is then lifted away and the attachment tap is retained in a pre-centered position whereafter the pull rod is tightened for clamping of the tool shank in the inner pipe during two further centering procedures.

    摘要: A junction between two components of a tool system, that rotates about an axis of rotation, includes a conical seat, on the first component, coaxial to the axis of rotation and which is defined by an annular front face. The second component carries a coupling having a conical surface complementary to the conical seat and an annular end face resting against the front face. A tie bolt axially projects beyond the free end of the coupling pin and engages, in a cavity adjacent to the seat. The junction also has tensioning elements that are actuated from the exterior for mutually bracing the components, which are radially guided in the first component, and which act upon the tie bolt and are functionally linked with joint actuating means for adjustment between detached and tensioned positions. The tensioning elements include ejection portions that can be fitted with a rotatably received rolling element.
