At the same time, a fluid jet is ejected across the air flow above the grinding point in the rotational direction of the grinding wheel. As a result, the air layers on both lateral sides of the grinding wheel are turned not to head for the grinding point above the same, whereby the grinding fluid is reliably led to the grinding point without being obstructed by the air layers following both lateral sides of the grinding wheel.
