摘要: According to one embodiment, a sheet material cutting device includes a rotatable blade including a blade unit, which extends from one end of the rotary shaft to the other end thereof and defines a predetermined angle relative to an axial direction of the rotary shaft, provided on the outer circumference of a rotary shaft rotatably supported by a support frame. The sheet material cutting device further includes a fixed blade mounted on the support frame so as to be opposed to the rotatable blade and configured to cut a sheet material in a transverse direction perpendicular to the feed direction of the sheet material that is perpendicular to the axial direction of the rotary shaft. The sheet material cutting device further includes a sheet-suspension prevention unit configured to prevent a rear edge of the sheet material in its feed direction from being suspended within the support frame.

摘要: The cutting knife, especially when used for high-speed slicers, serves to slice food products, in particular fresh meat or cheese. In the blade area it has, on the outer side thereof, at least one deflector, which is configured as a shaped piece formed towards the outside and substantially following the cutting edge. The cutting knife may be configured as a circular knife or a sickle knife.

摘要: A cutter wheel is provided having a plurality of spokes thereon interfitting with successive apertures in a continuous strip of plastic material assembled with cans, such as beverage cans, and having spaced cutting blades thereon for severing the plastic strip at spaced intervals to produce discreet packages, i.e., "six packs". The wheel is driven by the strip and overlies the strip, lying in a plane parallel to the direction of motion of the strip and assembled can. Each spoke is offset from a radial position so that a spoke is upstream from a radial line perpendicular to the strip when such spoke reaches a vertical position perpendicular to the strip for the associated cutter to effect its cut.

摘要: An artificial firelog and firestarter chip producing apparatus comprising a cutting assembly, a compression conveyor auger assembly and a die. The apparatus converts standard waxed corrugated cardboard boxes into artificial firelogs by first slicing cardboard sheets into cardboard strips, then chopping the cardboard strips into cardboard segments in the cutting assembly. The cardboard segments are horizontally disposed between the rifling and compressed in the compression conveyor auger assembly and extruded in the die to form generally horizontally disposed, circular, longitudinally-shaped sections of a firelog. Firestarter chips are fabricated by the cutting assembly, which slices waxed cardboard sheets in conjunction with paper sheets into waxed cardboard and paper strips, then chopping the waxed cardboard strips into waxed cardboard segments and the paper strips into paper segments and waxed cardboard segments mix.

摘要: A tool for removing nail fins from vinyl window frames comprising either a pneumatic wrench or an electric hand drill driving a tool having a slot into which cutter wheels project along with toothed rings above the cutter wheels. The toothed rings move the tool along the nail fin while the cutter wheels cut the nail fin from the frame.

摘要: An apparatus for continuously cutting fibers to a predetermined length to provide staple fibers comprising at least one rotatably supported disc having a peripheral surface formed with a circumferential row of engagement projections radially outwardly protruding therefrom and spaced at intervals of a predetermined pitch and at least one cutting blade, the disc being rotatable sequentially past a delivery station and then past a cutting station during one complete rotation thereof. The fibers are at the delivery station delivered successively onto the disc so as to cause the fibers to be substantially traversed in a zig-zag fashion while extending alternately outwardly and inwardly around the engagement projections, and then partially pressed against such every other engagement projections by means of an endless belt drivingly trained around the disc. Portions of the fibers, which extend outwardly around every other engagement projections, are, when brought to a cutting station, successively cut by an impact shearing action created by the cutting blade in cooperation with the every other engagement projections around which those portions of the fibers extend outwardly, thereby providing the staple fibers.
