    摘要: It is an object of the present invention to provide a cutting machine capable of keeping an angle of a cutting edge constant. A support block 14 is provided with two arms 14a, 14b which are spaced at a certain angle, and the arms 14a, 14b have rotation shafts 12a, 13a of rotary whetstones 12, 13, respectively, extending upright from the vicinities of the front ends thereof. The rotary whetstones 12, 13 has, at front ends thereof, flat surfaces 12b, 13b perpendicular to the rotation shafts 12a, 13a to grind the one side 11b and the other side 11c of the cutting edge 11a of the cutting blade 11, respectively. The whetstone holding mechanism 15 can be moved linearly along the guide shaft 16 and can change over grinding states in which the flat surfaces 12b, 13b of the rotary whetstones 12, 13 into contact with the one side 11b or the other side 11c of the cutting blade 11. Even when the grinding progresses, since parallelism between the flat surfaces 12b, 13b and the one side 11b and the other side 11c of the cutting blade 11, so that the angle of the cutting edge is kept constant.

    摘要: A cutting apparatus for a ceramic green sheet according to the present invention is a cutting apparatus for a ceramic green sheet for cutting a ceramic green sheet held on a carrier film into a square-shaped sheet piece, and comprises four roller cutters, each of which is disposed so as to correspond to each edge of the sheet piece, and moving means for moving the roller cutters along the corresponding edges of the sheet piece. In this cutting apparatus, the four edges of the sheet piece are cut by the roller cutters, thus cutting failures on the ceramic green sheet are significantly prevented. Furthermore, each of the edges of the sheet piece is cut without changing the position of the cutters, thus improvement of cutting dimensional accuracy is realized, compared to the conventional apparatus in which the position of the cutter is changed when cutting each edge.

The apparatus comprises a support frame (12), means (22) to support the material in the form of a work plane (22), on which the material is spread. Above the work plane (22) are one or more mobile cutting units (18), each with a material cutting blade (20). The work plane (22) supporting the material (16) is made from glass and is equipped with appropriate means to make the work plane elastically yielding in such a way as to perform the cutting of the material without the risk of the cutting blade damaging the work plane.

    摘要: A cutting apparatus cuts the edge portions of a cover sheet covering a rectangular substrate. This cutting apparatus includes a holding unit, a head unit, a first moving unit, and a second moving unit. The holding unit holds the rectangular substrate by chucking one surface of the rectangular substrate. The head unit includes a cutting unit which cuts an edge portion of the cover sheet and a pivot unit which makes the cutting unit pivot to change a cutting direction. The first moving unit moves the head unit in a first direction parallel to one side of the rectangular substrate. The second moving unit moves the holding unit in a second direction perpendicular to the one side of the rectangular substrate, and moves the holding unit across a transfer position of the rectangular substrate and a cutting operation region which are continuous in the second direction.
