摘要: A combined reflex and laser sighting device is provided. In one aspect, the reflex sight and one or more laser elements are coaligned, such that both the reflex sight and the laser sight can be sighted in or boresighted to a weapon together in a single operation. In another aspect, one or more laser elements are mounted within a laser bench and aligned with a reflex sight attached to the laser bench. In yet another aspect, a plurality of laser elements are provided within the laser bench and are coaligned with each other and the reflex sight. In another aspect, a mounting block with yielding vertical and horizontal webs is provided to allow windage and elevation adjustments to be made to the reflex sight and laser elements together. In still another aspect, an elevation macro-adjustment mechanism is provided to provide a simple adjustment that that realign the sight to a weapon to accommodate different shooting scenarios, such as different velocity rounds, different target distances, and elevational differences of the shooter's vantage point.

摘要: A sawguide assembly includes a plurality of sets of sawguides, the sawguides within each set positioned adjacent to one another to create an array of laterally-abutting sawguides. Corresponding sawguide biasing assemblies bias the sawguides in each set against one another. The arrays are supported for independent movement along a lateral path generally parallel to the axis of the arbor. Lateral drivers are used to move each array in unison along the lateral path but independent of the other arrays. A sawguide array skewing assembly couples the sawguides of each array to one another so that the sawguides can be pivoted in unison about their respective pivot axes by a corresponding skewing driver.

摘要: The hub (3) of the circular or disc-saw is supported, at the end adjacent to the saw, by at least one swingable radial bearing (6), while at the opposite end, driven for rotation by the pulley (28), the hub is supported by a servo-control (10-12) by which the axis of the hub can be maintained in line with the axis of rotation or said axes can be spaced apart angularly by rotation about a common point thereof, whereby the teeth of the saw will have a composite rotational movement and symmetrical side oscillation, with a frequency proportional to the rotational speed of the saw and with an amplitude proportional to the spacing of the axes and to the radius of the saw. The saw is used to score the panels which are subsequently cut through by the saw while being driven only in rotation.

摘要: Milling tool for fine cutting of slots or groove walls. Cutting points are angularly arranged around a generally disk shaped base member or carrier and said carrier is mounted on a spindle with the plane defined by said points positioned at an angle to a plane normal to said spindle. Rotation of the carrier with respect to the spindle will alter the axial position of the cutting tips with respect to the spindle. Thus, in one embodiment where the cutting tips are placed diametrically opposite each other on the carrier, rotation of the carrier with respect to the spindle will slightly alter the axial spacing between the cutting edges of said cutting tips. Thus, such rotation of the carrier with respect to the spindle may be utilized for fine adjustment of the cutting tips with respect to the walls of the slot or groove. This makes possible a very fine adjustment of the cutter for precise finish cutting of previously rough-cut slots and grooves. Spare cutting tips can also be mounted on the carrier at angular spacing from the initially active cutting tips, and later brought into operation while the initial cutting tips are removed from operation by rotation of the carrier with respect to the spindle. In any given adjusted position the carrier is, of course, locked nonrotatably with respect to said spindle.
