摘要:
The invention comprises a flying table concrete form. The flying table concrete form comprises a concrete forming deck comprising a first concrete forming panel having a first primary surface adapted for forming and contacting plastic concrete and a second primary surface opposite the first primary surface, a layer of insulating material contacting and substantially covering the second primary surface of the first concrete forming panel, and a second panel contacting and substantially covering the layer of insulating material. The flying table concrete form also comprises a plurality of deck support members extending transversely with respect to the second panel, wherein the first concrete forming panel defines a plane and wherein no portion of the deck support members are in the plane defined by the first concrete forming panel. A method of using the flying table concrete form is also disclosed.

A prescriptive method building system for composite structural building assemblies with conventional wood and light-gauge steel framing, structural steel, and other building code approved and tested building systems, building components, building panel systems, building roofing systems, modular and manufactured buildings, and building electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. A precast concrete wall panel system conforming to industry practices and standards as published by the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute, (PCI) in it's “PCI Design Handbook” (fifth edition, 1999), the American Concrete Institute “Building Code Requirements for Structural Concrete” (ACI 318-05), The “International Building Code 2006” and the “Uniform Building Code”.
摘要:
The invention provides a form member for use in forming concrete panels comprising a pair of upright walls connected by a plurality of ribs. Each of the ribs includes an aperture for allowing a fastener through. The fastener passes through each of the ribs into a casting floor to fix the form member to the floor. A plurality of form members can be arranged to define enclosures, concrete is then poured into the enclosures to the level of the upright walls, smoothed and allowed to cure to form concrete panels. The form members of the present invention allow a number of panels to be formed at the same time, with some form members common to more than one concrete panel. The invention provides easy of use and savings in space, time and labour.

A modular structure consisting of three modular units of approximately the same size, the center module being the primary module containing the mechanical components of the building, with plumbing, air conditioning and heating ducts, and electrical wiring in the slab floor structural foundation and door jambs. The primary module used to transport the entire structure is completed at the factory, requiring no further work at jobsite, with heating and cooling unit, hot water heater, cabinets and appliances, plumbing and light fixtures and accessories installed at the factory in permanent locations. The major exterior walls, slab floor foundation panels, and ceiling/roof panels for all three modules are similarly manufactured in one piece in full width and the length of the building, eliminating joints, speeding assembly and strengthening the components. The major components of the side modules, consisting of the slab floor foundation panels, ceiling/roof panels and the exterior side walls, are all hinged so that they fold to the side and on top of the primary module. Accessories and wall panels and partitions not hinged are placed on top of the primary module for transportation. Two end walls are bolted to the center module during transportation to the site. At the pre-leveled permanent site, the primary module is lowered to the ground and the hinged slab floor foundation panels, which include hinged and folded exterior walls, along with the ceiling/roof panels, are unfolded and permanently fastened in place for that site, but can be refolded if later relocation is needed. The slab floor foundation panels for all three modules are placed directly on the ground or on a pre-built foundation, single or multi-level design. If a pitched roof was ordered, trusses and pre-sized roofing panels transported on top of the primary module are attached to the flat roof of the center module. Two or more of these triple modules can be joined side-to-side or end-to-end or on top of each other, for erection of multiple-unit buildings.

A process and apparatus for making a plurality of building modules each having a foam core encased in a shell of fiber reinforced cement. A bottom layer is cast and fiber reinforced in a casting zone having side rails along a base and division members corresponding to the lengths of the modules being formed. End members are placed on top of the division members and foam cores are placed on the bottom layer between end members leaving free space between the core member, the side rails and the end members. Wet cement is applied to fill the free space surrounding each core member and to form a top layer which covers each core member thereby separately encasing each core member. Fiber reinforcement is applied to the top layer and a plurality of cured modules are removed from the casting zone.

Cast panels for building assembly and erection are formed and cured through the use of an apparatus which particularly facilitates high rates of production of such panels and thereby facilitates more economical building construction practices. Fluid materials being cast into panels are received within forms which comprise a cured concrete bed defining a horizontal planar surface maintained at an elevated temperature. Following curing of the fluid materials cast into the forms, stripping of the panels from the form is facilitated by vertically movable side forming members and by bulkheads separating the cured materials into predetermined panel lengths.

A concrete slab-casting system includes props with heads beams extending between the heads and panels resting on elements slidable vertically on the beams. The elements can be locked in raised positions for the casting operation and lowered for removal of the panels one at a time. The joints between the beams and the heads permits removal of the beams without lowering the heads.

The present invention relates to a cutting platform for cutting and shaping a clay slab. The platform has a water-absorbing cutting mat with a top surface for receiving the clay slab. The platform has a bottom surface opposite the top surface. The bottom surface is adapted to overlay a board. The platform includes grid-pattern indicia extending across the top surface of the mat. The grid-pattern indicia includes a first set of spaced-apart lines in parallel with each other and a second set of spaced-apart lines in parallel with each other. The first set of lines intersect with and are perpendicular to the second set of apart lines. The grid-pattern indicia includes unit measurement indicia. Cutting of the clay slab to a desired shape is facilitated by the cutting platform thereby.
