    摘要: A nozzle retention arrangement is provided for an injection molding manifold system, such as a hot runner manifold system. The nozzle retention arrangement couples an injection nozzle to a distribution manifold in a manner that locates the nozzle in its final operating position and applies an initial assembly load to retain the nozzle in position on the manifold to facilitate installation of a manifold system into a manifold plate. The nozzle retention arrangement may provide a compliant load application feature to limit sealing surface pressure between the nozzle and the manifold to prevent surface damage between the components, while also accommodating thermal expansion of the heated components during operation of the system. The nozzle retention arrangement may also provide a load control feature to prevent the machining quality of the nozzle bore in the manifold plate from determining the sealing load between the nozzle and the manifold.

    摘要: The invention relates to a modular cable guide system for use in an injection moulding apparatus including at least one first cable guide conduit, at least one connector having a sleeve for fitting around a first end of the first cable guide conduit, clamping means for tightening the sleeve around the first cable guide conduit for forming a clamping connection with the conduit and a coupling member for connecting the connector to a machine part or to another cable guide conduit, and a second cable guide conduit having a number of regularly spaced connecting holes for receiving coupling elements for connecting the second guide conduit to the machine part. The system according to the invention can be easily installed and can be made to the right size and placed into the right configurations upon installation.

    摘要: The disclosure is directed to an injection mold (1) comprising a mold insertframe (2) having several openings (3) extending in an axial direction (z). Each opening (3) accommodates a mold insert (4) encompassing a cavity (5), suitable to receive during operation melted plastic to form a plastic part. The several openings (3) with the mold inserts (4) are distributed around a center opening (6) of the mold insert frame (2). A nozzle head (7) is arranged in the center opening (6) of the mold insert frame (2). It comprises a primary melt channel (8), extending in the axial direction (z), and per cavity (5) a secondary melt channel (9) each interconnected at a dorsal end to the primary melt channel (8) and at a distal end to a cavity (5) by a nozzle tip (10) attached to the nozzle head (7). Each mold insert (4) comprises a first cooling channel (11) surrounding the cavity (5) and being in fluid communication with a first cooling circuit (12) across the mold insert frame (2).

    摘要: A pre-wired injection molding assembly to be supplied to the customer for installation in a mold. The assembly includes a number of sub-manifolds connected to a main manifold, a wiring frame having a number of elongated fingers connected to the sub-manifolds, and a number of heated nozzles connected to the sub-manifolds. The fingers of the wiring frame extend from a hollow channel member which leads to a connector box. The assembly is pre-wired by the supplier by running the wires from the nozzles along the fingers and through the channel member to the connector box. The pre-wired assembly is mounted from the rear in a matching mold manifold plate which greatly facilitates installation and disassembly for the customer.
