摘要: A predetermined speed control pattern B is sct. In a mold clamping process, in a mold closing section Zm, mold closing control is performed at a mold closing speed Vm, and based on a current mold closing speed Vd and a current mold closing position Xd, which are both detected, a deceleration starting position Xmc of the deceleration section Zmd, where the current mold closing speed Vd becomes a zero (O) at a virtual stop position Xc, is sequentially forecasted at each predetermined time interval by calculation. Upon reaching the deceleration starting position Xmc the deceleration section Zmd is started, and in the deceleration section Zmd, based on the detected current mold closing position Xd, a speed command value Dm corresponding to the speed control pattern B is obtained sequentially by calculation, and according to the speed command value Dm deceleration control is performed. Upon reaching a mold clamping-transition speed Ve, a predetermined mold clamping processing is performed via a low-pressure low-speed section Zc.

摘要: Upon injection molding, a linear encoder detects a relative position between the movable platen and a fixed platen, and a strain sensor detects a mold clamping force. A mold clamping control unit has a target platen position value and a target mold clamping force value. The mold clamping control unit subtracts a platen position and a mold clamping force from the target platen position value and the target mold clamping force value, respectively, to obtain deviations. The mold clamping control unit then switches the target to be controlled between the platen position and the mold clamping force. The mold clamping control unit appropriately converts the deviation of either the platen position or the mold clamping force into a control command value for a motor. The converted value is supplied to a motor control unit. The motor control unit drivingly controls a mold clamping motor according to the control command.

摘要: A system in which gravitation and inertial effects on platen verticality and sagging are compensated by an anti-tilt actuator (68, 70). A hydraulic actuator (68, 70) secured beneath the platen is either set to offset only gravitationally-related sagging of the mold half (60, 62) by providing a compensating upward force (relative to a stable clamp base 80), or otherwise its upward force can be dynamically adjusted also to compensate for swaying or tilting of the mold-platen assembly caused by stroke cylinder (98) operation and related inertia/momentum effects. Preferably, a level sensor (94) measures and communicates a degree of horizontalness/verticality of the platen (48, 50) to a machine controller (88) which, in turn, generates a control signal (87) to cause variation in cylinder pressure in the anti-tilt actuator (68, 70), thereby achieving substantially continuous alignment between the mold halves (60, 62) and reduced component wear.

摘要: In a stack mold or Tandem® molding machine (10) of FIG. 1 that employs injection compression techniques, a separation (δ1 and δ2) between hot halves (24, 26) and cold halves (28, 30) of first and second molds (15, 16) is controlled by sensed distance measurements between a centre-section carrier (17) and end platens (18, 20) on which the molds (15, 16) are mounted. First and second stroke cylinders (66, 68), under the control of machine controller (14) and subject to the sensed positions of the platens (18, 20), balance an injection compression stroke (FCLP) generated by a clamp assembly (48). Specifically, the stroke cylinders (66, 68) control a relative rate of closure between the two molds (15, 16) to provide, as appropriate, synchronous closure of the hot halves (24, 26) against the cold halves (28, 30).
