    摘要： Described is a screw filter press comprising a screw shaft, which has at least one coil turn and two screw shaft ends, the shaft axis of which is oriented parallel to the gravity vector and which is supported on one side via the upper screw shaft end thereof and which is connected to a rotary drive, and which is enclosed coaxially, at least in its lower partial area in a so-called filter area by a cylindrical filter tube, which is provided with openings and at which a filtrate space adjoins radially, to which underpressure can be applied. The invention is characterized in that a sliding tube, which radially surrounds the screw shaft in the direction of the upper screw shaft end in a fluid-tight manner, follows coaxially to the filter tube at the same inner diameter as the filter tube, that provision is made between the at least one coil turn of the screw shaft and the sliding tube for a radial play and that the at last one coil turn of the screw shaft adjoins the filter tube in the area of the filter tube either indirectly or directly at the inner wall.

    摘要： An apparatus is provided for compressing a loose solid feedstock. The apparatus includes a two stage compressor. The first compression stage is a screw compressor. The second compressor stage is a reciprocating compressor. The reciprocating compressor operates co-axially with, and receives its feed from, the screw compressor. The compressor establishes feedstock plug in a discharge pipe. A choke cone maintains pressure in the plug. The choke cone is actively controlled in response to operation of the compressor. The discharge from the compressor has a cooling jacket, and includes an expanding taper. The reciprocating compressor, the screw compressor, and the choke cone are all adjustable in real time to control the compression of the feedstock according to a pre-programmed schedule that need not have equal compression and retraction strokes. The operation of the screw compressor may be advanced or eased off depending on the motion of the reciprocating compressor.

    摘要： An apparatus for treating and condensing wet garbage and/or food garbage includes a housing having a garbage inlet and a garbage outlet associated therewith and defining a treatment path along which wet garbage passes for treatment, a pair of primary comminuting gears disposed along the treatment path downstream of the garbage inlet for providing a primary comminuting action on the wet garbage, and a pair of secondary comminuting gears disposed along the treatment path downstream of the primary comminuting gear for providing a secondary comminuting action on the wet garbage. The primary or secondary comminuting gears are preferably helical gears with intermeshing teeth, and may include transverse grooves extending at least partially through their teeth to facilitate passage of the garbage material between the gears. The apparatus may further include a compacting member and a filter disposed downstream of the secondary comminuting gears, which are configured to provide a compacting action on the wet garbage while also removing a substantial volume of the liquid therefrom.
