摘要: The method for shredding and recycling used big-bags, having a continuous internal bag of polyethylene and an external outer of polypropylene, includes: compacting at least one big-bag to a thickness of less than 20 cm; conveying the compacted big-bag(s) to a shredding unit; shredding at least one compacted big-bag at the shredding unit, between 100 and 1000 cuts/m being performed on the compacted big-bag(s) to obtain strips of the PE outer and fragments of the PP outer; separating the PE strips from the PP fragments to obtain a first fraction of PP fragments and a second fraction of PE strips: applying a second shredding of the polyethylene strips; cleaning the two fractions; feeding first and second extruders respectively with the cleaned first fraction to obtain PP granules and with the cleaned second fraction to obtain PE granules.

摘要: A method for separating black mass from electrodes of spent lithium ion batteries includes separating electrode pieces from remainder of material of a portion of a spent lithium ion battery. The electrode pieces are heated to a temperature in a range from about 200° C. to about 350° C. for a predetermined period of time to obtain pre-heated electrode pieces. The pre-heated electrode pieces are disposed in a neutral liquid to obtain a first suspension. Ultrasound vibrations are applied to the first suspension to separate the black mass and the binder from the metal pieces. Metal pieces, binder material and black mass from the electrode pieces are then segregated to obtain black mass.

The system and method for freezing and breaking down tires includes using a shredder to shred the tires, using a filter to screen the tire shreds, using a water sprayer to rinse the tire shreds, using a freezing tunnel to freeze the tire shreds before they are crushed into tire grains, using a magnet to remove any metallic fibers, filtering out any oversized tire grains for re-freezing and re-crushing, and using a separator to separate out any oversized or undersized pieces before bagging the final tire grains for re-use and recycling.

摘要: Systems and methods for separating materials and recovery of valuable copper from shredded end-of-life vehicles and appliances are disclosed. The system utilizes a pair of conveyor belts; one for de-watering and removing most of the plastic and glass particles and a second below the first for separating the copper wire bits. The second conveyor belt has a belt with a particular tooth pattern and material softness, and is set at a slight uphill incline angle. Water is delivered from the top down the slope and the belt successfully transports mostly just copper up and over a top edge to a collection bin. A cascading series of pairs of conveyors may be used to ensure nearly complete recovery of the copper. A secondary copper recovery conveyor having a field of nails or spikes may be added subsequent to the last primary conveyor for enhanced yield of copper wire.

摘要: A device for wholly treating urban and rural mixed household refuse at low temperature on site is provided. The device includes a vibration sieving and crushing system, a magnetic separator, conveyor belts, a magnetic pulse mineralization reactor and a tail gas purifying device. By using the device, urban and rural mixed household refuse is continuously fed; the mixed household refuse is sieved by the vibrating sieve according to viscosity, weight and size; nonferrous metal is sieved through a magnetic field; and organic substances are conveyed to the magnetic pulse mineralization mixed household refuse treatment device for terminal treatment. So, efficient reduction and harmlessness of the organic substances in the mixed household refuse are realized, and the pollution of organic wastes on the environment is effectively eliminated.

摘要: Organic waste is polished to remove floatable contaminants prior to being biologically treated. In one application, pressed organic waste is polished before being sent to a wet anaerobic digester, optionally to be co-digested with wastewater treatment plant sludge. The organic waste is polished by flinging globs of the organic waste against a screen (3,4) while flowing air across the flinging globs. The polishing can be performed in a device having a rotor (6) with discrete paddles (9,10) inside of a cylindrical screen (2,3,4).
