    摘要: In a wristbhaving a label-like structure, fracturing notches for preventing unauthorized use are positioned where the two ends of the band are to be glued together. If temporary peeling of the glued ends is attempted, the wristband breaks reliably and it is difficult to return it to the original state. If fracturing notches (11) are formed on either a first winding region (6) or a second winding region (7), which are positioned at left and right ends of the printing region (5). The wristband is configured so that a ring shape can be formed by overlapping and adhering the adhesive layer on the rear surface of one of shape, the first winding region (6) or the second winding region (7) onto the other winding region. An adhesion position check mark (15, 16) is formed on either the first winding region (6) or the second winding region (7).

    摘要: This invention discloses new methods and security devices for authenticating documents and valuable products which may be applied to any support, including transparent synthetic materials and traditional opaque materials such as paper. The invention relates to parallax moire shapes which occur in a compound layer consisting of the superposition of specially designed and possibly geometrically transformed s-random base layer and s-random revealing layer with a small gap between them. The base and revealing layers are formed respectively by base layer element shapes and revealing layer sampling elements positioned at s-random locations, where the base layer locations and the revealing layer locations are strongly correlated. When tilting the compound layer or changing the viewing angle, a parallax moire intensity profile of a chosen shape is seen moving in the superposition, thereby allowing the authentication of the document. A major advantage of the present invention is in its intrinsically incorporated encryption system due to the arbitrary choice of the s-random number sequences used for defining the positions of the specially designed base layer element shapes and revealing layer sampling elements that are used in this invention.

    摘要: An internally-illuminated medical data card in a credit card format containing a summary of the medical history of the bearer germane to his existing medical condition. The card, which is of laminated construction, includes a core panel formed by front and rear plastic sections having light-transmitting properties, a metallized layer functioning as a double-faced mirror being sandwiched therebetween. Nested in the respective faces of the core sections are front and rear film transparencies containing medical data in a directly legible scale, the combined data affording the required summary. The long edges and one end of each core section are in a concave formation to define reflective convex terminations whereby light entering the remaining flat end is transmitted through the section is reflected by the convex terminations and by the mirror to provide multiple internal reflection, causing the light to illuminate the transparencies to enhance their readability.
