The inserts are custom printed using an insert printer that is located in the inserter mechanism that is used to insert the insert(s) and the card/carrier combination into an envelope for mailing to an end user of the card. The inserter mechanism can have an “off-line” configuration, i.e. configured as a stand-alone mechanism, or configured for “in-line” use, i.e. used together with other mechanisms.

    摘要: A printed sheet product comprises a thin core having a pair of opposing major planar sides. A plurality of sets of variable data fields are printed on at least a first side of the core. One or more of the variable data fields of each set may be printed on the opposing second side of the core. Each set of printed variable data fields includes at least a first data field printed with a numeric code, the numeric code of each variable data field set being different from that of each other set printed on the first side of the core. Each set of variable data fields further includes a second data field printed with either a name and mailing address uniquely associated with a numeric code or with another representation of the numeric code. Where printed, the name and address of each variable data set differs from that of each other variable data set printed on the first side of the core. The sheet product is scored to at least define one removable element containing the first variable data field from each set printed on the sheet product. Where name and address data fields are printed, the sheet product may further be scored to separate the sheet product into individual sheet sections which can be inserted without folding into envelopes for direct mailing of the removable first element to an appropriate recipient.

The two core parts have a flat substrate and a first adhesive layer. The two covering parts have an at least partially transparent top layer and a second adhesive layer. The form has a first punch which forms the two core parts. The form has a second punch which forms the two covering parts. The core parts and the covering parts are coextensive. The form has a first and a second page. The first page, as viewed from the front, comprises the flat substrate, the first adhesive layer, a first dividing layer and a first carrier layer and contains the two core parts formed by the first punch. The first punch is made from the front as far as the first carrier layer at the most. The second page, as viewed from the front, comprises the top layer, the second adhesive layer, a second dividing layer and a second carrier layer and contains the two covering parts formed by the second punch. The second punch is made from the front as far as the second carrier layer at the most. A laminate for producing the form and a method for producing a personalised folding card which is plasticised on both sides is also provided.

    摘要: A business form has a carrier sheet and a label assembly. The carrier sheet has an upper surface and a lower surface, and defines a die cut opening through the carrier sheet. The carrier sheet has release material surrounding the die cut opening on the lower surface of the carrier sheet. The business form has a label assembly mounted on the lower surface of the carrier sheet, and extending over said opening. The label assembly has an upper surface facing the die cut opening. The label assembly is free of any paper material, and the label assembly includes a layer of pressure sensitive adhesive around its periphery on its upper surface. The layer of pressure sensitive adhesive engages the release material when the label assembly is on the carrier sheet and engages the interior surface of an automobile window. The label assembly is printed through the die cut opening before being removed from said carrier sheet.

    摘要: An integral printed self-mailer sheet product has a generally planar core formed by first and second core strips of different materials permanently joined together side-by-side by a cover strip. A plurality of variable data fields are printed on the core including at least the name and address of an individual person in a character format and a unique numeric code assigned to the individual person in a machine readable format. Scoring extends through the sheet product in the second core strip to define at least one and typically plural printed element(s) removable from a remainder of the sheet product, each including at least one of the printed variable data fields. The first core strip has a width in a direction perpendicular to the joint greater than and preferably at least twice the width of the second core strip in the same direction so as to completely wrap around the second core strip. The unique name and address may be printed on the first core strip and exposed on the outside of the completed mailer or printed on the second core strip and exposed through a window scored through the first core strip. If printed on the second core strip, the name and address may be included as part of a removable printed element scored in the second core strip. At least one and usually two transparent cover strips are bonded to the second core strip overlapping the outer sides of the scored, removable printed elements.
