摘要： The present disclosure relates to a drawing device for creating a pattern, wherein the drawing device comprises a gear assembly that rotates upon movement of the device, the gear assembly being operatively coupled to a cam and a cam follower, such that rotation of the gear assembly rotates the cam and causes the cam to bear against the cam follower. Movement of the cam follower thereby causes lateral movement of a marker carriage housing at least one writing instrument.

摘要： The invention comprises an apparatus and method of use thereof for processing a machine produced emulated handwritten document prepared on a marking surface, comprising the steps of: receiving a print job order; digitally generating a reference image of the print job order; machine plotting with a plotting pen and a downward force of one-half to forty ounces applied to said plotting pen an indentation trail to form input text on the marking surface; digitally imaging the input text on the marking surface to form an actual image; and in a quality control step, digitally comparing the reference image to the actual image prior to insertion of the print job order into an envelope.

The measuring and drawing device comprises a supporting frame, a rotation driving portion, a reciprocation driving portion, a drawing member, a distance measuring sensor, an angle sensor, and a control module. A first motor is configured to drive the rotating arm to rotate relative to the supporting frame, and a second motor is configured to drive the drawing member to reciprocate along the rotating arm to enable the drawing member to move in two dimensions. The distance between the first motor and the drawing member is measured through the distance measuring sensor to achieve measuring of a length of a line segment, and the rotating angle of the rotating arm relative to the first motor is measured through the angle sensor to achieve measuring of the rotating angle.

摘要： A multi-color writing marker may comprise a tubular marker barrel connected to a motor housing. The marker barrel may house a cartridge removably coupled to a drive shaft connected to a motor. The cartridge may include a plurality of reservoirs containing writing liquids of different colors. A marker tip may be mounted on a distal end of the cartridge. The marker tip supports a plurality of marker nibs corresponding to the number of cartridge reservoirs. Each marker nib may be is in fluid communication with a corresponding reservoir. Actuation of the motor spins the cartridge and marker nibs while a user is simultaneous creating a design on the writing surface.

摘要： A device for marking a surface, the device comprising: a body configured to store a marking substance; a guide arrangement having a first end and a second end, at least a portion of an outer surface of the guide arrangement tapering from the first end to the second end which is narrower than the first end, wherein an output path is provided through the second end at substantially the center of the guide arrangement; an activation arrangement; and a delivery arrangement which is configured, in response to triggering of the activation arrangement, to deliver a quantity of the marking substance from the body, along the output path and out of the second end, wherein, in use, a user inserts at least the second end of the guide arrangement into an aperture in an element positioned adjacent a surface until the outer surface of the guide arrangement contacts the aperture, and the user triggers the activation arrangement to deliver a quantity of the marking substance through the second end and onto the surface to mark the surface at a position which is substantially aligned with the center of the aperture.

摘要： A layout tool is provided with markings (508) and an anchor post (502) for anchoring a layout line, such as a chalk line, in relation to a piece of construction material. The tool (500) includes a chalk line guide assembly (510) comprising a mounting plate (514) which carries a chalk line guide post (512) and a securing mechanism (516) for securing the chalk line guide post (512) and plate (514) at a desired position along an arcuated groove (506) formed in the surface (504). A worker can secure the tool (500) to a work piece and attach a layout line to the anchor post (502). Thereafter, the worker can disengage the securing mechanism (516) to allow movement of the chalk line guide post (512) and plate (514) to a desired position in the slot (506) corresponding to a desired angular orientation of the layout line.

摘要： A robot for marking an encoded surface is provided. The encoded surface has coded data identifying a plurality of locations thereon. The robot has an image sensor for sensing the coded data, and a processor for generating indicating data using the coded data sensed by the image sensor. The indicating data has data regarding a position of the robot on the encoded surface. The robot uses a communication means to transmit the indicating data to a computer system and receiving instructions from the computer system. A steerable drive system moves the robot over the encoded surface in response to movement instructions received from the computer system and a marking device selectively marks the encoded surface in response to marking instructions received from the computer system.
