    摘要: The invention relates to an arrangement for the rear end of a motor vehicle with a fuel filler line and a compound crank which exhibits two trailing arms and a cross member connecting the trailing arms with each other, with the trailing arms being pivotably supportable in the direction of their longitudinal axis on their one end area including a connection element on the body shell of the vehicle, and having on their other end area a holder for a wheel bearing unit. Provision is made that the filler line crosses at least one of the trailing arms in the area between a connection site for the cross member and the connection element. The invention further relates to a compound crank for the rear end of a motor vehicle, and a rear end of a vehicle.

    摘要: A suspension system can include an air spring, an air reservoir external to the air spring, and a flow control device which variably restricts flow of air between the air spring and the air reservoir. Flow between the air spring and the air reservoir may be permitted in response to compliance of the suspension system, and the air spring can have an internal air volume at least 2½ times as great as a volume of the air reservoir. The flow control device may permit flow between the air spring and the air reservoir in response to a predetermined pressure differential level across the flow control device. Multiple air reservoirs can be internal to an axle, and can be isolated from each other in the axle.

    摘要: An air suspension system includes an air spring having an air cell and a piston. Preferably, the air cell tightly conforms to the piston and has a frustro-conical tapered configuration. By providing a tight conformal fit between the piston and the air cell, and by expanding the diameter of the air cell therefrom, the likelihood that the air cell will invert is substantially decreased. Similarly, when the air cell is deflated the taper facilitates the air cell obtaining the original rolled or deflated position. In another embodiment, the damper slows the extension of the longitudinal member to provide more time for an anti-vacuum system to equalize the pressure within the air cell.

    摘要: A vehicle suspension includes a mount assembly for a gas strut. The mount system includes a resilient bushing supported upon an annular carrier. A rigid annular member is mounted within an inner diameter of the resilient bushing. The resilient bushing, the annular carrier, and the annular member are symmetrical about an equator. The resilient bushing, the annular carrier, and the annular member are of a two-piece structure which are mirror images when reflected through the equator. The two-piece structure allows rapid assembly, simplification of manufacture, and assembly into the vehicle structure. Another mount system includes a one-piece resilient bushing having a cylindrical annular carrier.
